He had a meeting about Blade and other projects. Personally I liked the Blade movies but I'd have to imagine it's about other MCU characters.

Maybe Snipes could show up on Dare Devil as Blade or would that be a bit much, or is everything in the Marvelverse really in continuity with each other so vampires could actually exist in the same world as Dare Devil?

I do love the **** out of Snipes as Blade, but it's curious that Marvel would have any interest in keeping Snipes in the role.

There is not a chance Marvel is going to use the prior Blade movies as canon. There is barely any more chance they will use Wesley Snipes as Blade.

I actually wouldn't mind if the Blade trilogy became MCU canon. They would in a sense be retro-actively the introduction to the MCU , which would be fitting given that Blade was the first Marvel character to be hit in theaters a generation ago, in addition marking a shift away from the previous Camp approach of the 90s .

I think there's a significant risk of audience confusion, though. My personal preference would be a loose sequel/quasi-reboot. Basically, incorporate Blade in as if the previous movies happened, but never directly acknowledge them if you don't want to (e.g., ignore a movie you don't like). The downside is you would have to conform to the style of the old Blade movies, which would preclude going too far in making them more comics accurate. On the plus side, those movies were cool.

I just can't see Marvel breaking their clean slate policy for Snipes. His time as Blade has passed (same goes for Sticky Fingaz); time for a new face to dawn the leather trench coat

Doesn't every actor/actress who is looking to turn heads nowadays "Meet with Marvel". The point being that now that he's back on track Snipes is looking to get another break and maybe using the superhero craze to do so (ei his eagerness to play Black Panther and now returning back to Blade). However, if Marvel is wanting to bring Blade into the fold, then I'd rather see a new face take up that mantle.

Add Ghost Rider and Moon Knight and make it something outside of standard MCU continuity.
