So I was reading Batwoman the other day and it occured to me J.H. Williams would be PERFECT for a Daredevil book. I mean, the atmosphere and tone of Batwoman is very similar to DD I think. I would love to see him tackle DD one day. But anyway, I thought it'd be a fun thread to see what artists from DC everyone else would like to see on Marvel books and maybe vice versa.

Jim Lee (which will never happen), Doug Mahnke, Ivan Reis, Rags Morales, Ed Benes and I'd love to see George Perez come back to Marvel once again.

I want to see Finch tag-teaming issues of New Avengers with McNiven again like back at the beginning of the series. That stuff was gold.

EVS came to my lcs and did quick sketches that he inked as well. I had him do Thor since he's my favorite character. I was not disappointed, a Thor book drawn by him would be great.

Finch sucks. And while McNiven is good, he can't get work done in a timely manner. He can go exclusive to DC for all I care.

I think Mcniven would actually be great on Superman or even a Justice League book.

hear hear.

And whaddaya mean he can't get it done in a timely manner Boulder? Yeah he's not as fast as some guys but he's been on many big projects of which I heard nothing about lateness

Captain America is the latest example. Civil War was delayed so bad it affected the entire line.

I don't know the guy's name but whoever draws Justice League Dark. No specific project in mind I just like his work and would like to see him do Marvel stuff.

And yeah, J.H. Williams would have done an awesome Daredevil but not now. It's too happy and chipper for his work.

Huh, I didnt know that.

Knowing is half the battle......

Not bad. I'm not usually a fan of Van Sciver, either. I guess Thor really does make everything better. :awesome:

That actually doesn't look much like EVS' usual work.

I haven't seen anything of his since Morrison's New X-Men and he was a rookie back then. I don't find it surprising his style changed over the years.

...you didn't see any of his covers for GL: Rebirth, Flash: Rebirth, or his issues of Superman/Batman?

I'm not a big DC fan these days. Haven't been since the late 90's.

That's not being a big DC fan. That's sticking your head firmly in the sand.

Call it what you want. I still pick up certain stuff from time to time, mostly the big stuff like Loeb/Lee's Batman and the Crisis anthology.

Ew. Those are like the B-Minuses of the DC Universe.

Francis Manapul-Daredevil
Ethan Van Sciver-Ghost Rider
Darwyn Cooke-Spider-Man
Ivan Reis-Captain America
Jim Lee-Avengers
Greg Capullo-Thor
Cliff Chiang-Iron Fist
Travel Foreman-Dr. Strange
Yanick Paquette-Moon Knight
J.H. Williams III-The Punisher
Doug Mahnke-Iron Man
