Eastman claims that this will be the next movie, so if they choose to actually go ahead with it, are there directors you'd have in mind that could capture the comics in conjunction with a little of the cartoons?

A few pics of mine would be:

- Charles Russell, though I'd want him to be more in Eraser mode than The Mask mode

- David Gordon Green - known most recently for Pineapple Express, but his resume is steeped in the indie world, which is what caught my eye

- The Hughes Bros., #1, they haven't done **** for a while since From Hell, which I thought was well done regardless of opinion, and #2, they're both supposedly massive TMNT fans and pretty versed in the canon.

Man I don't even know if they are going ahead with it or not..

anyway.

The bright side is that the Hugh bros. are bake with the Book of Eli. Hopefully, that will kick arse. I think they are the most qualified. David Gordon Green..I like his earlier works, but I'm on the fence on him. With Charles Russell..maybe...10 years ago he could have made a decent Turtles movie.

As far as ultimate wishful thinking...I would kill for a Bob Zemeckis 'TMNT' film.

But being a tad more realistic...perhaps Ivan Reitman?

Hmmm...I'd have to think about it a bit more.

Ivan Reitman would be good too, actually. Perfect.
