Yeah, same here. It may be because I'm just a Frank Miller ****e and enjoy most of the stuff he does, but I think it's pretty good--the only thing I don't like are the long-ass delays. I seriously think if it wasn't so late all the time, more people would enjoy it.

I've liked everything I've read by Miller except the Dark Knight books...what he did to the Joker in DKR pissed me off, and the mutants were s**t. Year One was awesome though, and ASB&R is awesome as just Batman taken to the most extreme place you could possibly take him without having him like, eat people or something :o

Haven't read much, but Face the Face is one I liked. Had a great ending between Batman and Robin.

The Gauntlet was pretty good and so was Full Circle.

Although it featured mostly Robin (obviously:o), Robin: Year One is the best story I've read so far involving Batman and Dick as Robin.

Basically what is that and the Gauntlet about?

All Star Batman and Robin could've been something good. A nice Jim Lee/Frank Miller origin story to Dick Grayson that could possibly become post-IC canonical. It really could've been an interesting and good thing. I think Frank tried too hard to make the Dark Knight a total hardass that he got so far away from the character. I will admit it is a very "real worldly" meeting of the two characters. I don't care for how Frank had him kidnap Dick. Makes Bruce look too much like a terrorist pedophile. I perfer the canonical meeting from Dark Victory how he becomes *****' foster parent. Shows Bruce as the hero that he is.

Just so you know--Miller has said in interviews that this is a Batman that is still pretty green, and will make mistakes. Generally, it means that Batman realizes that he's f**king up and redeems himself in the end.

Essentially, it's another "Batman needs Robin to keep him from going crazy" story, amped up to further prove it.

Dick - Dark Victory, The Gauntlet
Jason - A Death In The Family, Hush/The Many Return of Jason Todd Arcs/Batman Annual 25
Tim - A Lonely Place of Dying, The End of Robin?, War Games, Identity Crisis, Superman-Batman 26
Stephanie - War Drums (only story featuring her, really)
