So, at this point, everyone knows how Split and Glass are direct sequels to Unbreakable, set on the same world.
What if we extended this principle, and supposed that all the movies made by Shyamalan were likewise? After all, aside from Avatar and After Earth, they are all set in a version of the present day, with certain recurring tonal and thematic sensibilities. They are not necessarily compatible in plot events, but compatible in style? Sure.
So, what would it be like? What interesting things would result? What possible illuminations or explanations could arise from looking at one movie from the perspective of another? Would the world actually survive all the nonsense twists and dire quality drop? *ahem*
