The El Camino is a work in progress right now, the Pontiac is my daily driver.

Nice, What motor are you going to put in the El Camino

I'm thinking a 350 small block. The cars got a long way to go though, and I've got a lot to learn. The body has some rust, thats my biggest concern right now. I'm going to work on this summer, try to do as much as I can on my own to avoid spending an arm and a leg.

What's in my driveway? An oil stain where my car used to be before it was repo'd :csad:

rust is always costly. My friend restored an old charger daytona. Damn did that thing cost him to fix the rust on the doors and quarter panel. 350 is a great size, I'm thinking about doing a 440 to my challenger. Not sure yet stuck between a 426 and a 440.

What Kind of car was it? and oil stain..thats not good!!!

'99 Ford Explorer. Black and two door. I loved that thing. One of the few Explorer's I've seen with a manual transmission. :csad:

The 5.3L small-block V-8 is rated at 303 horsepower (226 kW) and 323 lb.-ft. (438 Nm) of torque.
