Where can I find art of individual characters?

So I now have free time for the first time in quite a while and want to get back to drawing. I'd like to practice characters, but can't find a good way to find some good pics of them.

For example, if I want to find a variety of pics of the Thing. Google image search gives mostly crap (even when i put in "thing comic art" or "fantastic four comic art" the ones they give mostly suck.)

I also tried comicartcommunity.com/gallery, which has some awesome pics but their search function is total crap, which makes the site useless for my purposes.

I'm going to try deviantart but can't access it right now for some reason, but even still art from marvel/dc artists would be preferable.

Any ideas come to your minds that I don't know about?

I googled The Thing with the word comics or Fantastic Four comics and it gave back some good pics.

If you search a character, you can go to their page, and you find links to more images/galleries.

Maybe you'll have better luck if google with specific artists in mind. For Thing, I always liked Byrne, Wieringo, Perez. "Thing" is kind of a general word, so I'd imagine that causes some problems.
