I can't really get into the animated movies or shows. I much prefer a good comic without the budget bland art.

That being said, I thought the first half of Wonder Woman was very well done, as well as some of the action in Justice League War.

Oh yeah Batman Assault on Arkham was pretty cool too.

I actually thought that was one of the weaker ones. It was very misleading with their marketing as well. It really wasn't a Batman story. They should have labeled it just as it actually is...a Suicide Squad movie.

I did enjoy the Jonah Hex and Spectre shorts on DC Showcase. Man, I had forgotten ALL about those.

But man, the upcoming Gotham By Gaslight looks fantastic

I'm super excited they're finally delving into the Elseworlds stories, and I don't think they could have picked a better story to start with. Jack the Ripper has always fascinated the hell out of me, and with Batman being my favorite character, GBG is such a personal favorite with the slight steampunk aesthetic. And I couldn't agree with you more about which stories to follow it up with. The only thing that concerns me about Kingdom Come is how do you capture that stunning art?! These animated features haven't exactly been known for looking all that stellar, and there's no way they don't disappoint because Alex Ross's art is just... phenomenal.

Superman : Unbound is a massive fave of mine. I understand why there is so much Batman 'focus' but the films in which he is not the pivotal centre are for me, the better films, but what annoys me most is the fact he is 'shoe-horned' into everybody else's stories as well.
