Allow me to fill you in on the best Spider-Man actor of all time.

Unlike his Western counterparts he doesn’t take off his mask so often enough it doesn’t become hard to suspend disabelief that he still has a secret identity.

Tom Holland without reservation or caveat.
Andrew Garfield was alright in terrible movies, though his chemistry with Emma Stone was great. (I still want an Emma Stone Spider-Gwen movie,)
Tobey Maguire was one of the worst castings of all time and terrible from start to finish, imo. Pretty much ruined all of those movies for me (though some of Raimi's 'humor' also didn't help).

Tom Holland
Tobey Maguire
Nicholas Holland (70's show)
Andrew Garfield

Tom Holland.

Just sucks that he doesn’t have the Raimi material that Tobey had.

My favourite version of the character is Peter Parker from the Ultimate comics and it probably always will be. Bendis distilled and modernised everything great about Spidey into that series.

Outside the comics, the Spectacular Spider-Man (animated series), PS4 Spider-Man and Into the Spider Verse are my three favourite adaptations.

As for the live action films, I don't think any of them are perfect.
  • The Tobey Maguire Spider-Man is iconic and wholesome but the writing's clunky sometimes, his take on Peter's overly goofy and he doesn't quip much.
  • Andrew Garfield nailed it as Spidey, had some great moments/wisecracks and had great chemistry with Emma Stone but the films he's in are mediocre.
  • The Tom Holland Spider-Man just doesn't feel like Spider-Man. His motives are vague, he's an out of his depth rookie who relies on Stark tech and other heroes to save him and everyone close to him knows he's Spidey.

Tom Holland
Tobey Maguire
Andrew Garfield.

Tobey really captured the essence of what made Peter tick but his Spidey portrayal was just ok. It wasn't bad but he didn't capture Parker's alter ego.

Garfield was top notch as The Web Slinger but didn't really capture the man underneath the mask.

Holland is great as both Peter and Spider-Man! The moment that made me high on him was the rubble scene in Homecoming:

After this you can't forget that it's Peter, a 15yr old kid, underneath the costume who is doing his best to become the best hero he can be.

Andrew Garfield's is easily my favorite, and the only one I like.

I think Holland gives a better performance than Maguire, but the MCU version is the worst.

You must really like Tom Holland that he's seeping out everywhere.

The actor in the 70s show was Nicholas Hammond, not Holland. He was also in The Sound of Music.

I still haven't seen the perfect Spidey actor who embodies the comic version.

Yeah I do.

Alright, my mistake

I agree with that sentiment to a degree

I think Holland is pretty damn perfect
It's the supporting characters that make the Holland movies not feel like "perfect comic Spidey" imo

Make Zendaya Mary Jane Watson, get a jock to play Flash, and bring in other friends from the books like Harry, Iceman and Johnny Storm and it would be pretty dang spot on

Yuri Lowenthal

Josh Keaton.
When it comes to voice actors none topped Dan Gilvezan in Spider-Friends for me, his performance is great most of the time, and his voice is a fantastic fit for the character.

Followed closely by Rino Romano and Neil Patrick Harris.

Other voices I love for Spidey are:
  1. Josh Keaton (him and Neil are the best at delivering quips)
  2. Christopher Daniel Barnes
  3. Sean Marquette (Ultimate Spider-Man video game)
  4. Ted Schwartz
  5. Tobey Maguire (his Spidey voice reminds me of Ted's, that's more reason to love it)
  6. Yuri Lowenthal
  7. Chris Pine
  8. Sam Reigal (his delivery of quips sucks, everything else is fine, and his voice is great)
  9. Paul Soles
  10. Nicolas Cage

Nicolas Cage has voiced Spidey?

Wow. Either I didn't know or completely forgot

Tom Holland without question. OT but I think Toby Maguire is the worst. He's dry and doesn't have any sense of humor to him at all. His jokes seem so forced, nothing like Peter from the comics. He Sucks...............but he has better movies if it makes sense.

The below are my top interpretations of the character...

Christopher Daniel Barnes: Spidey TAS

Rino Romano: psx spider-man/spider-man enter electro

Josh Keaton: spectacular spider-man

Tom Holland: MCU spider-man

Tobey Maguire - by a nose
Tom Holland - a very close second
Paul Soles - an even closer third

Everyone else is either mediocre, or simply sub-pat to terrible imo

Really? Spider-Friends guy is udnerappreciated as a voice actor for the character, and I thought you might appreciate the 2000 game voice actor more than this since you included 67 Spidey.
