Hawkman could make a great film, if taken into the right hands. Have it focus on Carter Hall, the original and current Hawkman. Who really is the reincarnation of an egyptian prince. Prince Khufu. Hall who's an archeotologist, obtains what was called the "ninth metal", which allows him to fly. That's when he dons his costume, and creates the wings to go with his namesake. If the the Golden Age version of the character isn't used, his Silver Age incarnation can also be a good direction. In which he's a well known police officer of the planet Thanagar.
A Doctor Mid-Nite film could also work, given that it's not taken as a Daredevil/Batman ripoff. Considering the character is blind, and has his fair share of being dark themed. Especially with the scenario of having an owl crash through his window, like a bat crashing through Bruce Wayne's. The film should focus on him being an excellent physician, along with being excellent in hand to hand combat. Which he uses at his disposal of course.
I wouldn't mind if either of the two Mid-Nites were used. Charles McNider, or Pieter Cross. The only difference between the two, is that McNider was blinded by a grenade, while Cross due to an accidental venom. However, they're both able of seeing perfectly in the dark, using special infrared lenses. And have owls of there own which are more of their "second sight". McNider calls his "Hooty" while Cross' is "Charlie".
Wilcat could also make a good potential film. Again though, if it was done right. Mainly focusing on Ted Grant, who grew up as an orphan, and then taking up the interest of heavyweight boxing. The backstory of him becoming Wildcat, was being framed by his two managers Flint and Skinner. They had loaded one of his boxing gloves with a special kind of poison, which ended up killing his mentor, Socker Smith. When arrested, Flint and Skinner thought they had gotten away with the crime. But it was until Grant was freed, that they were proved wrong. He donned a large cat-like outift after is when he hailed the name "Wildcat" mainly for the way he fought in the ring, and sought out to clear his name. When he succeeded, he continued to embrace fighting crime.
For the beginning of the boxing fights, they'd be a bit like the elements used in the film Cinderella Man.
