Who? I mean besides JLA, JSA is awesome. DC has the big ones getting movies but do you think some JSA members can get a treatment? I for sure think so, and the hero i'd pick would be Dr. Fate! I think it would be cool to see him on screen and known as the "Man with with Golden Mask." It would feature Enza, have him go against a threat, and the Fate i'd choose would be Kent Nelson. Even though he's deceased, this could work some how as an origin film and then work from there. Villains maybe Psycho Pirate? Solomon Grundy? I don't know but i think it could work out.

Fate is one of my favorite heroes, i wouldn't mind a film.

What abiut you guys?

Definitely, I'd like to see a Doctor Fate movie too. Harry Potter has brought about a new interest in 'magical fiction' and a Fate film could really do well right now.

Doctor Mid-Nite is another I'd like to see translated to a movie. Perhaps to help differentiate it from Batman [in the public eye] WB could base it around the modern DM, AND keep his origin very close to the comic. Having Doctor Mid-Nite be the second bearer of the mantle would a great new concept for a comic film.

Hawkman could work well too, though to change things up I'd base it around his Silver Age incarnation [Thanagarian police officer].

yup thats a guy with lots of origins

Hawkman could make a great film, if taken into the right hands. Have it focus on Carter Hall, the original and current Hawkman. Who really is the reincarnation of an egyptian prince. Prince Khufu. Hall who's an archeotologist, obtains what was called the "ninth metal", which allows him to fly. That's when he dons his costume, and creates the wings to go with his namesake. If the the Golden Age version of the character isn't used, his Silver Age incarnation can also be a good direction. In which he's a well known police officer of the planet Thanagar.

A Doctor Mid-Nite film could also work, given that it's not taken as a Daredevil/Batman ripoff. Considering the character is blind, and has his fair share of being dark themed. Especially with the scenario of having an owl crash through his window, like a bat crashing through Bruce Wayne's. The film should focus on him being an excellent physician, along with being excellent in hand to hand combat. Which he uses at his disposal of course.

I wouldn't mind if either of the two Mid-Nites were used. Charles McNider, or Pieter Cross. The only difference between the two, is that McNider was blinded by a grenade, while Cross due to an accidental venom. However, they're both able of seeing perfectly in the dark, using special infrared lenses. And have owls of there own which are more of their "second sight". McNider calls his "Hooty" while Cross' is "Charlie".

Wilcat could also make a good potential film. Again though, if it was done right. Mainly focusing on Ted Grant, who grew up as an orphan, and then taking up the interest of heavyweight boxing. The backstory of him becoming Wildcat, was being framed by his two managers Flint and Skinner. They had loaded one of his boxing gloves with a special kind of poison, which ended up killing his mentor, Socker Smith. When arrested, Flint and Skinner thought they had gotten away with the crime. But it was until Grant was freed, that they were proved wrong. He donned a large cat-like outift after is when he hailed the name "Wildcat" mainly for the way he fought in the ring, and sought out to clear his name. When he succeeded, he continued to embrace fighting crime.

For the beginning of the boxing fights, they'd be a bit like the elements used in the film Cinderella Man.

Those are awesome ideas!! But, which one would you rather see the most, Batman?

Hawkman. Out of all the ones that have been listed, Hawkman in my opinion is one that can be well made if done right. I like the direction of using Carter Hall as an archeotologist like in the comics, then discovering the ninth metal which enables him to fly and later inspires him to create his symbol. Especially the concept of being reincarnated from an Egyptian prince, along with the villain of the prince being reincarnated as scientist Anton Hastor. Hastor served as the villain for Hall, considering his reincarnation was deprived from the prince's foe, Hath-Set.

Hastor could work well as the villain for the film, and the movie deals back and fourth with the past and present. Even though it'd be an origin film like most hero movies, before moving on to a sequel, I'd love to see Shadow Thief as a villain. He's one of Hawkman's classic villains, and again could work well if done correctly.

There's also the Thanagarian villain, Byth. Who was the recurring villain of the Silver Age Hawkman, Katar Hol.

This is a great idea! Most of Dc's characters deserve some screen time and this can work out well. He has some ties to alot of well known heroes, would you have anyone cameo?

Hawkman and Hawkgirl
and Maybe Stargirl, but that might make a better Buffy style tv show actually

None. Only because there hasn't been any sort of connection with other heroes yet, in the solo films. However, there probably would be room for Shiera Saunders/Hawkgirl. Considering she's the prince's reincarnated consort, who was known as Chay-Ara. Then, if be, she could be come Hawkgirl if ever there was a sequel.

But as far as other hero appearences, perhaps just a mention of one rather then them actually appearing.

I like the fact that everyone wants Fate in a film, that's just awesome.

Fair enough, you're right none have been connected. A mentioning would be cool to fans. Any other JSA members, Bats?

I can see Hourman working well on screen, if taken into the right hands. I wouldn't mind if it focused on either Rex or Rick Tyler, though I prefer Rex myself considering he's the original and Rick is his son. If it does focus on Rex however, Rick could make an appearence as a child (though they didn't have the natural 'father son relationship').

I can see the story of him developing the Miraclo pill at first, which enables him to become Hourman. For a short period of time, he's able to have twice the normal rate of strength, agility, durability, and even speed. He soon was nicknamed as "The Man of the Hour", which is something I could also see working well, as his own trademark.

Both Rex and Rick have been shown to be able to stop time slowly. But it's only Rick, who has been shown to have the ability of seeing the future one hour later. Again, if it's Rick the film is based on, that would be another useful element.

we all know it'll never happen, but I'd dearly love to see the golden age green Lantern in a film. I think it could be so very awesome and gothic.

What if they made a four film known as The Golden Age, and its like an independant film that puts the emphasis on Golden Age Flash, Green Lantern, Wildcat, and ____________? Fill in the blank. Each character would get a half hour and their stories would cross over like Pulp Fiction or Sin City. I cant see any of these guys getting their own full length movie and being done right, but I can see an Amalgam of the DC Golden age.

Oh yea, this would take place in the past, and for kicks you could have reverences to other DC events, like a newpaper that says like newpapers headlined "10 year old orphan inherits Billion Dollar enterprise" or
"Faust's Arrigo Boito's 'Mefistofle' to go on tour" those fake tabloids saying "Smallville Under Attack! From Outer Space!" or "Weatherballoon crashes over Smallville!"

Dr Fate. Maybe Alan Scott if they wanted to do a GL trilogy with a new GL everytime.
