I believe him when he says he's not playing Green Lantern and I still think Lantern is going to be Hal Jordan. It makes the most sense if they really are doing a Flash/Lantern teamup movie, Hal and Barry's friendship has all the history.

I still think he's probably going to end up being Shazam. I know he said Black Adam is his favorite character but he hasn't played villains very often, I think he'd prefer being a hero. If the movie lineup is true, it makes alot of sense to greenlight a Shazam movie if The Rock is going to be the star. He gets his own movie, he gets to be the hero and win in the end. It makes the most sense to me, despite the fact that I dislike the Shazam character.

It feels right to me. Here's the order i'd put of most likely

John Stewart
Captain Marvel (I'm not going to call him Shazam )
Black Adam
Darkseid
Martian Manhunter
Amazo
Lobo (This isn't happening unfortunately)

I'd use the YJ Amazo design if he is ever on film

This I absolutely love. I´ve for the last year claimed Amazo + Savage (played by Momoa) would make one heck of a JL movie for many reasons. IF the Rock plays Amazo and Momoa turns out to be Savage I would be so happy, like a dream comming true tbh. Amazo is a classic JL villain unlike Brainy who belongs to Supes. Savage is too. I´m thinking Amazo would collect parts or break in to different places trying to collect artifacts. Themyscara, Atlantis, Wayne Enterprises, Star labs in Central City and Lex Corp. Imagine that thing collecting all those powers he encounters and an evil genius bent on world domination like Savage controlling him like Lex did in JL TAS. In order to beat Amazo the league would have to place trust eachother and really play as a team. Could be cool. I alsol hope they join Supes out of free will as opposed to Batman collecting/convincing them like Fury did, but I´m sure they could weave that in as well. WW should be easy, Flash and GL too but Aquaman is pretty militant and puts his duties as king above most things.

I had completely forgotten about Amazo, jesus The Rock as him would be awesome and it fits really well with the description he gives. Amazo is complex, a bad-ass mf, never been played, superman level of powers and so on.

Since he's apparently not going to be John Stewart, I'd say the best options would be Lobo, Black Adam (though I don't think he's ever played a villain before), or Hawkman.

Since he looks like amazo he can play him.

Idrid Elba is Jon Stewart and the rock is way to bulky to play black adam.

The rock isn't going to want to be darkseid or lobo he prefers to be a good guy.

What about some kid, like ..........okay I can't think of who I'd cast
but some kid actor as Billy Batson, and then "SHAZAM !" the
Rock as Captain Marvel.

That would be cool. Especialy if it was a surprise. One minute we're all
"who's this annoying kid ?" and then POW ! the world's mightiest mortal.


Personally, I don't think you could have Black Adam in a movie, without
Shazam. So why not have the Rock as the alter ego.

I think the Rock could play the child in a god's body brilliantly.

Sure there are a lot of other characters the Rock could play, but to be honest
he's most convincing as a tough guy, not a mastermind.

Darkseid.....well you'd need someone with real gravitas to carry that role.
Someone with a voice so low (shame Michael Clarke Duncan can't do it, RIP)
who just radiates menace.
IMO the Rock isn't the right guy. He's someone we want to cheer for, and he's best when the character he's playing doesn't take himself too seriously.

IMO the point of a Shazam film is a Black Adam/Shazam conflict
