There's characters on Breaking Bad and Justified that belong on this list, but I'm waiting until their arcs are finished until I decide on who. I also really loved Kale Ingram (Arliss Howard) in Rubicon, but it got canned and we'll never know where that might have gone. That's the same reason no one from Carnivale or Deadwood is on my list.. with the shows left unfinished character arcs are incomplete. With a comedy being cancelled it wouldn't matter so much as change is often minimal, but in dramas? It's crucial.
