Who has the better powers: The Female Heroes or the Male Heroes?

Thought I should start this thread seeing as a friend and me were talking about this during the other episode. She said she thought the male characters had the best powers, whereas I thought the female characters had/have, hands down the best powers, so I thought I'd see what everyone here thought.

For the men we've got:
Matt & his dads Telepathy
Peter's Empathy
West & Nathan's Flight
Sylar's Intuitive Aptitude
D.L's Phasing
Isaac's Precognition
Micah's Technopathy
Bob's Alchemy
The Haitian's Mental Manipulation
Hiro's Chronokinesis
Linderman's Healing
Ted's Induced Radioactivity
Claude's Invisibility
Kensei's Regeneration
Alejandro's whatever that is he does

For the ladies we have:
Niki's Super-strength
Claire's Regeneration
Monica's Photographic Reflexes
Eden's Persuasion
Charlie's Eidetic Memory
Molly's Clairvoyance
Maya's Virogenesis
Elle's Electromagnetism
Meredith's Pryokinesis
Dale's Super Hearing
Candice's Illusions
Hana's Electronic Data Transception

I vote for the ladies!

Sylar and Peter alone trumps any female character you put in the mix. Then toss in Hiro, and it's a landslide. There's also at least three male characters that can fly, and possibly a fourth if Sylar knows how to use telekinesis to make himself float, which was already implied in season one.

And in an all-out battle of the sexes, Maury Parkman by himself can likely render the women useless, although I'd like to see what a confrontation between Maury and Candice would look like.

I don't know about Sylar's "actual" power, but Definitely Hiro and Peter are the two forces to be reckoned with. Assuming I am the ONLY Hero out there, well, then Peter's powers are useless.

A lot cancel each other out, like Kensei/Claire or Maury/Candace. And a lot to me are even, such as Elle vs Ted vs Meredith (they all shoot out something destructive).

That leaves Eden for me as the female with the coolest powers. Ignoring Hiro and Peter, Bob, DL and Linderman have some really cool powers. So did that guy that could melt stuff and the guy with the telekinesis. Guys, hands down.

I'm not saying that. And that's not the point because you could use any power any day of the week. The females only have a couple of interesting powers imo while almost every male has a power i'd really like to have. Look at Bob's power. Sure with persuasion you could convince someone to sleep with you or give you money but with Bob's power you wouldn't even need money anymore. You could just turn a toothpick into gold or whatever. And you won't have a problem picking up chicks when you can turn stuff into gold or diamond or whatever you want.

For the men Peter and Hiro have the best most powerful powers. Sylar's original power aint that great unless he starts killing other heroes. IF you put Sylar up against any "powerhouse" female (say Nikki for example) Sylar won't stand a chance with his original power unless he had already stolen some of the others powers. Taking into consideration that the females know about the fight. I too would like to see Maury vs. Candice that would be a very intersting fight IMO. Ted vs. Elle would be another good fight if Ted knew how to use his powers 100%. For me the men take a very close win. With out Peter and Hiro I would have to give this to the women just because of Maya . She would kill everyone even her fellow teamates.

No clue. I remember she was hyped to be this great new character and she only showed up in barley five episodes. She was killed in the future episode though.

This got me thinking. What if Peter got close to Monica? If somehow Peter can master all the powers he has, he'll be like Goku, lol. He'd be one flyin', karate-kickin', energy-blastin', superpowered fool.

Hell, he can even fake a Ki powerup using Ted's glow.

She went up in a rocket and destroyed the companies satellite by crashing into that sucker killing herself instantly. Only she didn't die. Now she exists as what I like to call a digital soul...free to sift through the web hacking systems and gathering information.
