For me, its Theodore Roosevelt. He was a cattle rancher, a deputy sheriff, an explorer, a police commissioner, the assistant Secretary of the Navy, the governor of New York, and a war hero (formed the Rough Riders during The Spanish-American War and lead the historic charge up San Juan Hill on foot!) before becoming the youngest man sworn in to be the leader of the free world.
He created our National Parks and had the teddy bear named after him. He also rode a horse for 100 miles once and had a strict foreign policy. While campaigning for a third term in The White House, Roosevelt was shot by a would-be assassin and instead of treating the wound, delivered his campaign speech with the bullet still in his chest! Ted was a pure badass!
