I actually want to see the Wonder Woman get made and not just promised, but never delivered thank you very much. :o

Del Toro is attached to about 739 projects currently, and I REALLY want Dark Universe to get made.

Del Toro's WW would be amazing. GL too. (all them monsters...practical effects...good lord).

He's doing Pacific Rim 2 for 2017 though. Not that I'm complaining.

Matt Reeves is doing the Apes sequel for 2016, so I think he's busy too. (Hopefully not busy for a 2018 Superman film :). He was a runner-up for MOS after all.)

Justice League Dark will NEVER get made as long as Del Toro is attached to direct.

A female director isn't required, but it would be very welcomed. I would definitely encourage WB to bring in a few female candidates. For a movie dealing with a fictional all-female culture, a woman's perspective in the director's chair could go a long way.

It's not every day you see a woman directing a big-budget tentpole film.

Director- Julie Taymor
Writers- Phillipa Boyens & Fran Walsh

This team would have to purposely mess up for the film not to work. It's so perfect.

And WB/DCE has kinda won the comic book movie diversity race so it would be cool if they continued that.

Doug Liman (Edge of Tomorrow, The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith)

I like this choice because he has done well with female action stars in both Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Edge of Tomorrow.

I'm still pissed off at Marvel for letting Patty Jenkins go.

As for male directors, give a look at guys who have shown they are capable of developing strong female characters without succumbing to the typical Hollywood cliches.

Alfonso Cuaron, Doug Liman, Francis Lawrence, Gary Ross, etc.

Francis Lawrence

I'm going to be original here and say "Alfonso Cuaron".

Strong female characters? Hmm...

Joss Whedon :sus

Left field choice; Andrew Stanton.

I wouldn't be against that, but between JOHN CARTER and him being a Disney/Pixar guy, I'd say that's one of the longest of long shots. Points for thinking outside the box and forgiving him for JC though. :word:

I order for me to forgive him for JC, I'd have to have hated JC to begin with.

Completely unrealistic option #1: Christopher Nolan
Completely unrealistic option #2: James Cameron

Now that we got those out of the way.

I'm going to go with the Wachowskis.
