this is a thread i made to talk about Season 2
When is it? What should they improve? What should remain constant? Should the winner of this Season have a team-up comic with Feedback? Should Feedback make an appearance? Should anyone from last Season make an appearance? Why didn't MV win? woot: just kidding)...etc etc etc

and also, who thinks that WWTBASH should get its own Forum? if they are going to keep making it, we should have a place to talk about it

they should keep some of the cheese, but take down the blatantly scripted nature of the show a couple notches.

most importantly though, they HAVE GOT to make SOME sort of sense when choosing who to eliminate, cause one of my biggest beefs was how arbitrary some eliminations were. yes, I'm talking about the whole FM/MV debacle.

that ruined the show for me because not only it eliminated the best character of the bunch, it happened while keeping FM who in that same episode displayed the least superhero qualities in the entire season. the reason they gave for eliminating MV had merits, but it was lost the minute Stan lost his vision of the boy scout superhero in order to make FM proceed.

anyway, they definitely need to avoid that kind of scenario and at least give the viewer the illusion that this isn't ALL scripted. that's what was so great about the first couple of episodes.

I agree with JackBauer (Who doesn't) to a point.

Same cheese, better masking. All these reality shows are well contrived and scripted, but WWTBAS showed way too much of it's underbelly, especially in the eliminations. I can't say that the great failing of the show was eliminating Major Victory, or allowing Fat Momma to go into an obviously losing battle. BUT, the elimination process was obviously shady, as opposed to seeming fair and being shady, like all other reality shows.

But the show has promise, merit and fans. That's enough to inspire them to give us a higher quality season two, refining their challenges, psycho analysis, editing and selection processes into something truly impressive. With a bigger budget, who knows what kind of cool stuff they'll come up with!

And I plan on applying too, lets hope they get some slightly more clever challenges for fans of the show that think they know "the code."

i thought, besides the fact that MV was the best one, eliminating MV took away from the finale
like you guys said, it was so obvious that FM was going to lose to FB, there was no real point in watching the finale

It was mega fake, and I actually wished this show had some realness to it.
I'll TRY to watch the first episode, at least.
