My top five:
Eddie Van Halen - this guy got me to pick up a guitar. It was a dream to see him live.
Eric Clapton - There's a reason he's called GOD
John Petrucci - Amazingly technical, brilliant musician
Hughie Thomasson - The Outlaws/Lynyrd Skynyrd so underrated it hurts.
Allen Collins - Lynyrd Skynyrd - Guy writes one of the most praised solos of all time but never gets the recognition...
And yes, I know the threads been done before, but I don't want just another "Lol of curs Jimi he cAn plAy wit t33th loz" thread.
