Why are immigrants succesfull in the U.S.A.?

Not to get offensive because both my parents are from Ecuador, but my dad who never finished high school arrived in the U.S. in 1971 determined to make it in the U.S. as a jeweler.

Throughout the years he's managed his own jewelry store for almost 20 years, he's driven fancy cars and gets lots of chicks (which is why my parents divorced) and to this day at 57 years old he's still has that drive to succeed.

So my question why are foreigners more successful than Americans?

Because there are a wealth of opportunities in America for anyone willing to work hard due to America being built on the misery of oppressed black people and poor people in third world nations. Hooray!

I'll tell you why sometimes Immigrants are more successful than natural born Americans. Ready? Many Americans are lazy and expect things handed to them.

If you see unemployed people on the street it's always an American born man (white and black) begging for money and a Mexican immigrant selling fruit or offering to work for money.

I see it all the damn time.

Well if you come from a sh***y country with almost no opportunities you have to work hard to just survive. So over here with opportunities turn into success.

Also arguably they are bigger risk takers since they come over here to start a new life. Taking risks is an excellent way to succeed.

The other thing is they tend to have a sense of delayed gratification, something that most natural citizens lack (being part of the fast food generation).

They are not.If you are to look at facts closely,you will see that people of immagrant history,mainly black and hispanic do not have powerful jobs that effect the outcome of the country.Few if any.The Aryans still control the country.
