Considering Date Movie was a pretty big financial success, I'd say they did learn their lesson with it; no matter how crappy these movies may be, people keep eating them up. Why stop making them?

Obviously, I'm talking about this from a film studio's perspective. As a film viewer, I find these films absolutely disgusting.

yes it is. i think they are going to do a trilogy with this one as well. but hey... they cost nothing to make and they rake in the money so.... I wouldnt stop would you? plus there is some valid spoof points as well

They've been making these parodies for years. Sometimes they're funny, sometimes not. We're talking Airplane, Hot Shots, Naked Gun, Austin Powers, Space Balls, and the first Scary Movie (maybe even the second one).
