I think there might be a problem with the whole Lexzod concept given its premise and the rules created by the show.

In Transference Clark and Lionel's minds/spirits/souls w/e changed bodies.
While Clark was in Lionel, clark's "essence" healed Lionel's cancer/tumor.

Thus the essence and the bodies apparently can affect eachother.

Now, if we go all the way back to the pilot, it is greatly implied that Lex is a krypto-freak having gained his intellect and subsequent baldness as a result of the meteor shower.

If kryptonite is in his body, shouldn't it kill Zod based on the rules established in transference?

Maybe ill PM this deknight.

Not only the pilot episode, but subsequent eps across different seasons have hinted to 'krypto' effects on Lex.. In one episode Lex makes a grand speech about believing the rocks made him stronger, more resiliant. That no matter what he will now and forever be a survivor!

If this is true, and the effects have been this stronge, they should definitely have some effect on Zod.

I dont think that it has ever been inferred that the kryptonite remains in the body only that exposure to it effects some people.

And I dont believe that an essence or spirit would suffer from the same effects that a body would. It's a physical reaction not a mental reaction.

so would the response have to be that the meteorites changed the physiology? but its an instantaneous transofmration so...like him an apple...now im an orange....and with no residue of apple in me at all.

thats a plausible solution.

Your second solution i find less plausible...if that where the case, then zod should be bound by the abilities of lex, and lex's body shouldnt have any extra power.

Have you forgotten this is SV here nobody dies they just take over other peoples body.

Yeah, its just a mutation like being exposed to radiation. Godzilla!

Well if you take the first solution into account, then the second solution follows on.

If Lex has no lasting traces of kryptonite in his body, then whatever means Brainiac used to prepare his body is irrelevant. I'm not sure if he changed his DNA or what it was he did but even if he did, Lex still has no kryptonite inside of him.

aahhh yes, I forgot all about the 'prep' ritual Lex went through first...
