Wii-Mic?

Hey guys, according to both IGN and Gamespot, the Wii-mote is likely to be a microphone as well. For anyone who wants to read the story, just go here. Personally, I don't think the Wii-mote would need to double as mic b/c the Wii has slots for GCN memory cards, so the GCN mic should be compatible.

I'd think they'd make a Mic attatchement to the Wiimote.

They probaly will include it. Nintendo will probaly want to expand the nintendog franchise onto the Wii and without the mic the game will not work. Nintendogs is a huge seller for the DS so it is pretty likely that nintendo will add a mic even if that is the only game they plan to use it for

Instead of connecting the Nunchuck to the wiimote you could attach a microphone type thing, if nintendo dosn't add the microphone in the wiimote itself

I'd say they'll have the mic. The DS has the mic, so I'm sure they want to have that same experience going for the Wii. They want this controller to really innovate the way games are played. Voice recognition and voice commands for a few games would be pretty cool.
