Wii-mote vs. Sixaxis

The Wiimote wins, end of discussion.

Suxaxis.

The sooner SONY release an updated sixaxis with rumble the better.

I doubt anyone, including Sony fanboys would call the Sixaxis, a last minute add-on better than the wii-m ote. Sixaxis is like having a poor version of the nunchuck attached to your PS2 controller.

that's not really a fair comparison at all... the sixaxis is the better controller by a long shot, because it's the same proven comfortable shape and design we've been using for something like 10 years, with a few changes (some good: trigger/shoulder buttons, tilt function ((which is a great addition, like it or not)) some very bad: no rumble)... with rumble added (which i'd say is just a matter of time, given the backlash) it could rival the 360 as the best controller out there.

the wii-mote is the better motion sensor by leaps and bounds, but is still a freakishly stupid idea to base a console on, in my opinion. it should have (and probably could have) just been a peripheral for the gamebube, and i'd bet money that that's how the idea for it started out.

ANYONE who finds the Wiimote difficult to use after the first few mins of playtime has SERIOUS issues. I don't want to think about playing a Zelda game with "standard" controller scheme again.

In the next gen we'll see others ripping off the idea.

And what's with the battery eating crap? I've been playing mine since the 19th, an 8 hour setting the other day and I still have a full bar. Do you guys NEVER turn off your Wii's/Wiimotes? If it's that big of a problem buy....*gasp* rechargable batteries.

ie. it's old and will soon be outdated. The Wiimote and 360 controllers are both comfortable. The argument that it is comfortable is stupid. All controllers are designed to be comfortable these days.

But it won't because it doesn't have rumble which Sony sacrificed for their gimmick tilt function (which are even more gimmicky than the Wii. The tilt was pretty much slapped on to the PS3 and the games just added some gimmick feature to use it. The Wii was built with the controller in mind and the games are designed to utilize them).

It is more stupid to take a similar idea and slap it onto the console than to build the console around this idea (Are you reading between the lines on that?). Of course it is all your opinion. You hate the Wii and love the PS3 so it is no surprise you are bashing the Wiimote

Neither the Wiimote. You are not supposed to flail your arms in the air in a wild frenzy with every bit of strength possible. And how many cases have there been out of the 700,000+ Wii owners?

The siaxis is better, stop such being Wiitards.
