Will freezing headbutt scene soon be removed from Uk showings/dvds

Following the concerns of the british youth watching their hero spider-man headbutt doc ock while falling off the building in spidey 2, the scene was changed soon in cinemas and on all uk releases on dvd to a punch.

Now Robert Drake has taken the mantel for being the role model headbutting, are we then likely to get scene edited or removed in order for less complaints to be made about it.

currently i have yet to hear anything but following past trends there is a likelyhood that it may be removed.

Or do you think that it fits in with the rest of the 'fantasy violence' shown within the last stand.

it's far more vicious, equivalent to spitting in someone's face, or kicking someone in the balls...

not really the art of fighting you would expect from a hero, especially seeing how brutal it looked.

saying this, wolverine's headbutt in the first x-men films were left in, the only changes made to the scene were the sound effects to make them sound more like metal clanking rather than bones being broken.

i guess a sound effect change could also occur in this film to make it sound less violent.

taking wolverine's from the first film, this one and the spidey one, i think this one by far is the most vicious looking one.

The UK version of "Enter the Dragon" cut the whole of the classic Bruce Lee nunchukas scene.

They better leave the ice-butt alone. It's one of the best ideas ever.

This reminds me of the name change to "TEENAGE MUTANT HERO TURTLES" in the UK years ago...because the word "NINJA" was deemed too violent or something to that effect.

If they cut it out, how else would Pyro get owned? Iceman has to headbutt Pyro in order to knock him out and move on to the next scene.

Seeing that this is Iceman related, I feel compelled to respond....

So how the hell will they end the scene with him being iced up? I can see him taking Pryo by the wrists and freezing them, but after that moment it'll get a little tricky to pull off without showing what happens next. I just picture this really bad edited in scene where Storm is shown using lightning bolts (say, from the Callisto scene) and shocks Pyro with a lightning bolt, and Iceman says.... "Take that, you poo-poo head - dummy.... you".

The whole idea of editing this moment out is just downright stupid, considering other aspects of the film which are far more violent and are somewhat disturbing in places.

If they edit it out Iceman's headbutt, I'll be so p**sed

those slashes were fantasy violence, no real weapon was used and no bloodshed was shown based on his actions.
