Will they follow the lead of the X films?

I've heard it said that even thoug X3 got horrible reviews and was mostly panned by the fans, it broke all the BO records in large part because X2 ended with a cliff hanger. Could that work for the FF series? Do the SS in FF2 and end it with Galactus arriving on earth? Who thinks this would set up FF3 to be a huge success? Of course, it didn't hurt that X2 was a great movie too so I guess this would depend partly on how good FF2 is as well!

First of all i don't expect FF2 to get an opening weekend as big as X2 because 50% liked F4 while the remaining 50% didn't. While X-men i guess was liked by 80% so X2 opened huge.

BUT as long as FOX gives us a much better movie with much better ACTION, SFX, good story, BADASS VILLAINS and a great marketing campaign like X3 or F4 then i have no doubt FF2 can open $60+ million domestically and end up doing $400+ worldwide boxoffice because overseas i guess kids and families liked it more than x-men.

Ya it will do just fine. As of now FF2 has a release date where no other movie will be released and the next weekend too no movies is releasing. So i think FF2 can do a lot unless they release a ROM COM on FF2 second weekend.

I think this time around this Movie will automatically do better because "The Kids" know who they are & like thed the First Movie. It is not just about the Comic Book Fans while making Movies like this. The first Fantastic Four no one really knew them but now most Kids know & like them. If any one audience will make this Movie money it will be The Kids. The same can be said with Superman Returns. Fantastic Four 2 (now that they are more known) & Superman Returns has the audience that makes Finding Nemo, Shrek 1 & 2 & MANY MORE HUGE HITS
