With the new Witcher school, and Ciri wearing the necklace, I'm curious whether she's started a new one or if she had to find one because Geralt wouldn't continue her training. She can now drink potions, which would've killed her in the past.

I really lucked out with 2077 because my game was broken but it was only ever broken in hilarious ways and not game-breaking ones.

My experience at launch was honestly not that bad. I don't mind bugs, really. It's the overpromising that CDPR did during the development of the game (RPG stuff mostly and some mechanics that got axed).

Sure the messy launch, especially on consoles, put a black eye on the studio. Hopefully they will do better because I really like the studio and their pro-consumer principles (well beside C2077 obviously).

I went from being excited for one Witcher game (remake) back to two.

I, the person who got you excited for 2077, still hasn't played 2077. And considering there was just another new patch, I continue my wait. I do own it by the way. Bought it day 1.

If they end up remaking the first game (I can't keep up with all their games in (pre-)production ), I hope all of you who didn't get to play the OG will enjoy it.

TW1 still has my favourite atmosphere out of the three games. I'd also say the music as well. Sure the combat gameplay was quite dreadful even though it wasn't that bad on PC. But I think we can all agree that if there's one bad thing common to the trilogy it's the combat, right?

The first felt like such a unique game when it was released. I love the quirk of how each game feels like a bit of a different genre.

I enjoy the combat in 2 and 3 well enough. But I'd be lying if I said it was all that good.

Dragon Age hasn't really set out to be a "dark fantasy" game for a long while now. At least two games (still haven't played 2). And that's okay. Because games can be different.

Great trailer and hopefully they learned their lessons with Cyberpunk and can deliver a game worthy to follow The Witcher 3, which I probably still hold as the greatest game ever.

I have a slight disappointment in that they didn't create an entirely new witcher and told a completely fresh story but at least Ciri is a great character. I guess she lost her powers and went through the trials.

Either people remember the series wrong or never really played them because outside of Origins, none of the DA games were really that "Dark Fantasy" and not even Origins was close to be as dark as witcher.

A completely new start would have been neat, or a game that lets you create your own Witcher...but Ciri is absolutely a fantastic choice for a Protagonist.

Yup, Ciri is pretty much the main Character in the books and like...Witcher 3 and the netflix series also revolve pretty much around her...those who have not seen Ciri as protagonist in a future game coming, simply have never consumed any witcher material and just are in this for the fake culture war.

Thats the other thing...we will get Remakes of the first witcher game down the line, so Geralt is not gone.

That people complain about it being woke just because Ciri is a woman makes me more happy that she's the main character. The only thing that made me want to have someone new is because W3 felt like it had nice sendoffs for the characters. Geralt could retire and Ciri achieved her destiny. I'm sure they can tell a great story with what she does with the rest of her life though.

I just hope that they've been able to fill the spots of all the devs that have left with other good people. This pretty much has to be actually great to meet general expectations.
