Scenario: Girls out on the town, all dolled up, wearing extremely revealing clothes. A guy approaches one of them and chats to her. Every now and again, he gives her the once over (he can't help it, right?) which annoys her. She berates him for being a pervert, pours her drink over his head and stalks off, heels a clickin'.

Is this:

A) The girl's fault for dressing like a skank?

B) The guy's fault for being a lecherous perve?

C) No-one's fault and it's just the way things are really?

E) What about the guy in the bushes?

Man walks into a lion's cage with a "meat suit" on. Lion attacks and eats man.

Whose fault?

Man who should have known not to wear meat suit around lions.

Lions who do what lions do.

Its the guy's fault for being a disgusting pervert and, no, it is not natural for all men to gawk at women. The ones that do are less than men. They are stupid dumb animals that are best fit for doing laborious work and following the directions of greater men.

I'd have to dispute that. If it's not natural for men to find women attractive, then how do you explain procreation?

We don't want consequences for our actions. The girls want to dress half naked and not be bothered. Kinda like the young lady that was murdered in New York a few months ago. She stays in the bar until 4 am, is sloppy drunk and walks home alone.

Yes. He should not have murdered her. Let me make that clear!! But what's the woman's part in not putting herself in harm's way in the first place for a predator??

Celldog just the fact that you equate all men as predators speaks volumes about your views.
And your state of mind.

Here's the way I understand it: Women want men to glance at them, but not stare. They want several men to give them brief looks, but no one man to stare. If you look at a woman for more than 2 seconds at a time, you're a perv in her eyes.

Not all men. But fact is, some are.......many are. When a woman goes out, she should dress with that in mind. You can be sexy and elegant with the ****-o-meter going off.

And if you don't notice her, she still gets ticked off...

Real men aren't so idle as to have their behavior guided and controlled by mindless urges.

Thanks Buddha.........LOL

Yes of course, how silly of me. 'Real' men don't look at women at all. In fact they stare straight ahead and fight all urges to look at the opposite sex.

:whatever:

Wise up. It's not about 'fighting our primal, mindless instincts', it's about men doing what men do. Men check out chicks. Fact. Some are a little more subtle than others, but to make a sweeping statement like the one i've quoted is just foolish.

The same goes for women.
Fighting the instinctual urge to fluff their feathers in the attempt of attracting a mate should be a conscious decision and chosen more often.

Exactly Outsiderzedge, I'll never understand why we, as humans, place ourselves above every other animal intellectually and at the same time choose not to exercise that which we so proudly believe differs us.

I guess, we're just hypocrits aren't we?

I think that's what's wrong with humans in the first place. We're always trying to be better then everything and everyone.

Or perhaps it should be embraced? 'Why fight it' and all that?

Lets face it, that's pretty much the way it is now anyway. My original question was more to do with a woman's reactions about guy's who act pervy around them when they're wearing clothing that they know to be provocative?

C'mon, it's not rocket science. A girl dolls herself up, checks herself out in the vanity before going out. Thinks to herself, 'Damn, I look hot! Guys are gonna be all over me!'

Guys do the same y'know. But to have that mindset, then complain when one feels perved upon is (IMO) hypocritical.

True, perhaps instead of intelligence, thats what really differentiates us from other animals.
Our overwhelming sense of predomination.

hmm thats a bit cyclical...;)

I could say something right now, but it is not very nice, so I will only say this. You are what you are. I understand that, but make no mistake that not all men are like you. You may continue to tell yourself that they are, in order to feel better about being the perv that you are.

Whatever makes you happy...

So true!
Why fight my moral compass and all that intellectual B.S. that other animals dont have?
Anarchy is our salvation from these humanitarian manacles!!

Actually I have never thought about what men will think of me when I get dressed for a night out. I just think about how I feel I look. If I feel I look hot, then I do. Women dont 'dress for men' as much as men like to think we do.
If im going on a date, yes, I think about it.
