There were many stories that trickled out over the years about how they battled and deliberately annoyed each other.

For example, whenever Dean Cain would have to share a close scene with Teri Hatcher, he'd routinely eat garlics or onions.

Yeah, I heard that too. But after watching the specials on the Lois & Clark DVDs I don't believe in that anymore. There's allways a day when ***** hits the fan and there's a little riot behind the camera. But the series went for 4 years and was set for another one. It's a lot of nonsense in my opinion. I think people just look into it too much. I wrote this (http://superherohype.com/forums/showthread.php?t=257575) in December 2005 and in January `06 I lost the editor-in-chief position at the college newspaper that I was promised. If I were one of these crazy people I would have blamed it on the Superman curse. But, of course, its alot of nonsense. Yeah, one bad thing happened to me but I've had a lot of good stuff happen which includes FINALLY getting a car, a great internship, and getting financial aid.

So, again, I think people just look into it too much. I mean...if you wanted to you could blame Mel Gibson's recent problems on the Hamlet Curse.

I think there's plenty of people who prove that the curse is nonsense. Those include Richard Donner, Gene Hackman, Dean Cain, Teri Hatcher, Tom Welling, Tim Daly, Bruce W. Timm, Paul Dini, Kevin Smith, Nicolas Cage, and Tim Burton among others.

Dean has worked prettily steadily since the show went off. (No curse here.In fact, if not for playing Superman, he possibly would have had no career. It worked in his favor.) Host of Ripleys, a bunch of movies..True he isnt a superstar. But few actors are today.
