I was browsing the net when I came upon the screenplay for X-Men written by Andrew Kevin Walker. This script was written prior to the first film. And I am pretty sure this is the first time the script has been released to be read by the public- or at least it's the newest update to the "Simplyscripts" movie script page.

Andrew Kevin Walker also wrote 'Seven', '8mm' and 'Sleepy Hollow'.
Just wondering what your opinions on it are.
Haven't read it yet, going to start now... but, due to that bold part thought I should post it here for you guys to read as well. "Everything you'd ever want in an X-Man film."

All over the planet, unusual children are born with an added twist to their genetic code. This "X-factor" allows the children to perform extraordinary feats - flight, telekinetics, laser beams from the eyes and more. One Dr. Charles Xavier gathers the children to a place where he can train them to use their powers for themselves and the forces of good he dubs these children his X-men and hijinks ensue.
Donovan writes, "...Andrew Kevin Walker's scripts are always great to read, but I'm pretty sure this one is unfilmable: wildly ambitious and astronomically expensive, shoehorning (very skilfully, but still) way too much of everything you'd ever want in an X-Men film into just 129 pages. It's still a great read, though. He wrote this shortly before "Seven" went into production."
