I think I like Rachelle Lefevre for the role if they keep Tim Pocock from Wolverine, Haley Ramm is a bit too young for Pocock visually.

she was on degrassi before Shenae Grimes was and she's a natural redhead and a great actress.

I think she'll make good fit. ether with what I want as reaboot away from fox or the former. I rather her for the reboot though.

But ether way i think she'll work fine.

but, not sure I understand the logic of this statement, Tim is like 24-ish and was playing 17-18 at the most, so, how is casting a 29-30 y.o. a good fit?
ya, I know Famke was older then, Marsden, in the original cast, but, I don't think Jean was suppose to be older?

but, IDK, it all depends on where the movie picks up, what age rang there going for

though, I'd say its more common to see older guys playing younger, opposite younger girls playing older, so, a 18-21 ish range for casting of Jean, might balance out his age abit

Put Tim Pocock next to Haley Ramm....
Doesn't look good does it.

Besides, it's only a year in age difference from Ramm. Lefevre's 6 years older than Pocock, while Ramm is 7 years younger than him. That's for actual age, but looking at all three actors, Lefevre and Pocock would look better onscreen as Ramm still looks a lot younger than Pocock.

That's why I really liked Kate Mara for Jean, but she went and got cast in Iron Man 2.

I love Stacey. Big fan of hers. Id be all for this choice. And the pics posted on the first page, the comparison pic of Shenae as Jean, Stacy looks like that pic of Jean.
