X-Men the live action TV series, or Xavier's Institute

Well I redid Toad:
Toad-3.png

The orange might have been too bright, but I was only using the color from the micro hero I was working from. The idea is that its a jump suit type thing.
Character wise, He is Magneto's lacky. He does whatever Magneto tells him, he is older than the other Brotherhood members (like Quicksilver) but not nearly as old as Magneto. So lets say if Quicksilver is around 18 then Toad could be around 28-34, or something. Just some character ideas.

Here is Wanda Maximoff/ Scarlet Witch:
scarletwitch.png

She is Magneto's daughter, but she neither she nor her brother Pietro are supposed to know yet. She might, but she doesn't let on. She dresses in scarlet colors and sort of dresses gypsy like. She shows up around mid season of Season One. When Magneto introduces his own students, the Brotherhood of Mutants. (They are more like a Mutant Liberation Group.) And the government sees them as terrorist, especially since their actions are terrorist. (more character ideas.)

Based on this idea:
216181-88525-scarlet-witch_super.jpg

She, like every other character on the show, has a variety of clothing they wear. Magneto has an official uniform he wears, but when not really in battle he wears regular clothing too.
Each member has a style that they wear but not a costume or uniform they wear all the time. (there are no costumes really.) Its not Smallville, at the very most a character might wear clothing similar to their costume in the comics. Logan wears a yellow tank top with black slash marks from time to time, a shirt from his Alpha Flight days. But Logan usually just wears some flannel shirt or something like that.
The closest the show ever gets is in Season One where the X-Students have a school uniform, that is phased out starting season two.

i kinda like the idea for Logan to have a brown shirt with black slash marks on it. could u do a mock-up of what that'd look like?

I guess so. Logan has lots of shirts.
Sure he is mostly a white T-Shirt, or flannel buttoned up shirt sort of guy (the clothes he usually wears in the comics, like what I have posted him wearing) but he also has a few specialized shirts like his yellow tank top, this one could be one too.

I like your idea, if somewhat fimiliar, being as how I made a simular fan fic a while ago.

Anyway I made this opening that I think is a good way to set up the story

(A black screen)

( an unseen man’s voice very strong and intelligent)

Prof. X: Strength, determination, defiance because there is nothing wrong with disliking the way the world is, and oh, there is the other requirement to be apart of my school.

(Quick flashes of children come in and out of focus: The first is a brown haired boy releasing red energy from his eyes, the second a young girl with white hair in Kenya summoning lightning behind her while levitating in a meditative Indian style stance, a boy with oversized hands, feet, and body structure being teased on a playground because he has bad dandruff which he scratches with his leg like a dog, and a girl running to her friend crying. A car speeds away. The girl looks up towards the camera and fiery energy erupts in her eyes)

(Xavier in the mansion study quarter)

Prof. X: You must be… Gifted.

nice intro,

and Thank you for liking it.
It all came about when someone made a thread asking what comic book should be made into a TV show. I got to thinking about the rumors of a spin off X-Men movie or show about the X-kids like Iceman and Rogue. But then I started thinking about trying to adapt the original X-Men into a show like Buffy. From there it went on. What was the basic idea about yours?

and now...

The complete Brotherhood of Mutants (from Season One):

SeasonOneenemiesthusfar2A2.png
SeasonOneenemiesthusfar2A3.png

Jason when not using his powers to hide his true self.
Mastermind.png

and the rest of the "obstacles" the Xavier Institute must face in Season One:
SeasonOneenemiesthusfar2B.png
SeasonOneenemiesthusfar2C2.png
SeasonOneenemiesthusfar2C3.png

Juggernaut isn't meant to be that big, he should be just a little taller than a Sentinel or the same size (like the Juggernaut from X3), but he ended up bigger.

X-Men (live action) Season Two
Original Cast:
X-MenSeasonOneagain.png

plus,
the new additions:
X-MenSeason2newstudentsA.png
X-MenSeason2newstudentsB.png
X-MenSeason2newstudentsC.png

These are the new students, added to the original cast. But not all remain. John Proudstar dies in battle during Season Two, Shiro Yoshida leaves during Season Two, Kitty Pride and Anna Marie join later during Season Two (at separate times).
And at least one of the original five leaves (like Iceman or Angel, maybe even Beast), but Cyclops, Jean, and one of the other original members remain along with Xavier.
MoriaMcTaggert.png

Moria McTaggert also joins the show.

So I just finished Mystique (one of the major villains of Season Two):
Mystique.png

Here is what I was thinking with her. She is a weapons expert, and combat expert, and really military like. She truly believes in Magneto's vision, but is always looking out for her own interests. Unlike her movie version, this Mystique wears clothes. She usually wears some sort of military combat type outfit. When she morphs her clothing morphs with her. Unless its something she has added to her person or put on (like a belt with a gun). Then she would have to remove that.
Her wardrobe varies, but she usually wears some sort of pants (military camouflage, or black leather, or whatever) and a shirt like a tank top or something. Maybe most or all of her Brotherhood wears military type gear, they are militarily trained by Mystique.
Her skin is blue, but not scaly. Her hair looks like regular hair (not slicked back unless she wants to). And her eyes are yellow, done with contacts.
Her morphing effect can be done the way most TV shows, like Buffy, Angel, or Hereos, and maybe even how Smallville, does it. Film one actor in front of a green screen, then film the other actor in front of a green screen, then have one transition into the next (like how they do the vampires on Buffy or Angel,
or how Peter changed from his future self to his past self and back.
just a really quick transition, with a little morphing sound effect.)

hey is Jubilee gonna be in this? cause look on Deviantart and search for Ultimate Jubilee 2. it's an awesome pic of Jubilee ultimized.

oh yeah, what im havin problems with the writer block is starting it out. like im trying to figure out who the first character to introduce would be. im thinkin bout it bein Jean.

nevermind. i figured out the good intro character. i'll try and get it completed to ya as fast as i can. dunno how long it's gonna take.

Although you probably don't need it,
My idea for who to start with would be Charles Xavier.
Maybe him talking to his Nurse girlfriend about starting the school (maybe without actually saying what it is).
Or
Maybe start with Charles Xavier watching to news about the mutant phenomenon. flipping from one news channel to another, talking about protesters, riots, hate groups, About Senator Kelly, and maybe even briefly show Reverend Stryker on some Larry King type show,
and so on.
(In the intro)
He watches it.
It establishes him sort of, mysteriously, and establishes the setting.

Then maybe start with some students,
later for Charles' intro show him talking to the Nurse girlfriend about the school. (Or introduce him when he meets one of the students.)
I guess the idea would be to make Charles a very central character.

Just some ideas, vague. I am not a writer really, so I don't know.

yeah, i was gonna introduce him when he meets one of the students. thought it'd be a lil bit better for him to be introduced while meeting a student.

I'm wondering, would this be a period piece set in the 60s? Because you mentioned Magneto being in his late 30s/early 40s but still being a holocaust survivor. I, personally, would think that to be a cool move. Give the show a unique feel.

steelio I think you should set up the villian before the main characters. I don't think you need a long drawn out origin for each character before the main storyline just quick flashes of them and there powers like in my intro.

i got everything worked out. its still a li bit rough round the edges. but its comin together.

I think a period piece might be cool. But if, say the studio making the show didn't want to do that, his age could be explained as
His magnetic powers slowed his aging somewhat or keep him looking younger than he really is.
(That way, if he is older than Charles in reality, he could sort of act as Charles' mentor in the beginning of their relationship.)

But I thought at first a period piece might be cool, what would you guys prefer? A present day story (like Buffy, Angel, Heroes, and Smallville)
or a period piece set during the time the comic was originally set in? (that would also effect their clothing.)

As for the intro, I was only thinking that since its really starts because of Charles and its his plan (his mission) that he should go first. (maybe I read that somewhere already.) That was my whole thinking, but I am not much of a writer.
I would love to see your script when your done.

Here is a new one from Season Two,

avalanchetm9ix.gif
Avalanchea.png

Dominikos Ioannis Petrakis/ Avalanche
I posted my version next to the original (how he looked in the comics). He wears a helmet because he is safety consiouse. His powers effect the earth but don't shield him. He also wears a bullet proof jacket once he joins the Brotherhood.

I think a period piece could definitely be cool. Use the backdrop of one of the more interesting periods of the 20th century for your story.

true, plus then (if its set in the past) when Bishop arrives he could show up from a time like 2007 or 2011. Sometime current, but to the show the future.

Destino.gif
Destiny2.png

Also based on this:
431143-IreneAdler_11_super.jpg
Irene Adler/ Destiny
She is an elderly woman, old enough to have gray hair and wrinkles. Her power of seeing into the future has also left her blind to regular sight. Her powers vary. Sometimes she can see several minutes/hours/days/weeks/years into the future. But she has no real control over what she sees, how much of it, or when she sees these visions.
Originally Mystique partnered with Irene because of her powers, always looking out for herself, but eventually it led to them becoming lovers.
This also is an insight to how old Mystique really is.
Irene is not a warrior, or used on the team for combat. Mystique leads the new Brotherhood, but Irene is the strategist. Mystique uses Irene's visions to plan the Brotherhood's actions.
All her predictions have come true, including the prediction that Rogue would betray the Brotherhood and join Xavier. She also predicted her death.
Her character dies sometime during Season Two. (and Rogue leaves the team during Season Two as well, to join the X-Men.) This could lead to the downfall of the new Brotherhood.
Irene began writing a book of her visions, who knows when. She only told Mystique what Irene thought she should know, or wanted to know. But her visions reach farther than anyone thought. Well into the future. (maybe even into Bishop's time line.(?))
Irene is blind, without her glasses the actress playing her wears white contacts, to make her eyes look empty.
Irene wears regular clothes, never once does she wear a costume or even combat gear. She sometimes wears a cloak with a hood. She also uses a cane to help her walk.
Her character shouldn't be evil or bad. She should have her reasons for aligning herself with Mystique and the Brotherhood. Even if they are just because she resents mankind, but it could also be something along the lines of its part of her visions.

More to come, like Pyro.

Now that would be interesting. Liking what I have read on this thus far.

Thanks. Here he is from Season Two's Brotherhood, Pyro:
I couldn't find a micro hero of him though, not really.
Pyro01.jpg
JohnPyro2.png

My idea for him is that he basically wears regular clothes (probably light weight clothing because of the heat.) and then some welding goggles and his fire hand tools.
His hand tools are simple (similar to the ones in the movie X3):
pyrohand.png

258292-34568-pyro_super.jpg

Another idea for him is that a lot of his clothing is covered in burn marks or ash, and that he himself gets burned a lot too. He could even have a permanent burned scar on him, like on his face.
He is a real pyro, loves fire and burning stuff. He loves watching fire, and isn't exactly careful with it. Often getting WAY to close to a flame.

He could also maybe have a thick Australian accent.

I actually think I'd like that look more for cannonball

I had never planned on using Cannonball, but I always imagined that if the series was on long enough eventually Cannonball and many other characters I hadn't officially used would find their way onto the show. Thats one of the reasons why I thought X-Men would make a perfect live action series. So many mutants, with a semi rotating cast you wouldn't run out of characters to use.

Anyway, for Pyro I wanted something very simple, pants, shirt, his Pyro wristbands, and Welder's Goggles. like these:
Bluehazrd.jpg

welding2-1.jpg

But I suppose he could wear something like a Welder's mask too,
maybe like these:

But I would prefer the goggles myself,
what do you guys think?

As for Cannonball,
I imagine he would wear goggles like these:

Here is Mystique's Brotherhood from season two:
Brotherhoodseason2.png

Raven Darkholme/ Mystique- founder of the new Brotherhood, and leader. The new Brotherhood is meant to carry on Magneto's vision for Homo Superior.
Irene Adler/ Destiny - she sort of guides the group, and plots their actions. Maybe they even plot to free Magneto.
Anna Marie/ Rogue- she is Mystique's "daughter" and her secret weapon.
Dominikos Ioannis Petrakis/ Avalanche
Fred Dukes/ Blob- apparently believed in Magneto's vision so much that he joined the new Brotherhood.
John Allerdyce/ Pyro

The season starts with Anna Marie "Rogue" in the Brotherhood of Mutants, but even while there she could be shown to have private doubts. She later leaves the group and joins Xavier's school sometime during Season Two.
Irene "Destiny" is killed, also sometime during Season Two.

I also made these,
Avalanchea2.png

Dominikos "Avalanche" in more civilian clothing but still wearing his gear.
Sort of a "what if they had to go into action before he had time to get ready" sort of thing.

I don't think that the goggles are necessary (but can see how they would be practical) maybe just like the movie he just wheres street clothes or the first goggles look the best anyway.
