Sequels X-Statix Adult Cartoon?

I don't think that X-Statix would work in live action. The effects needed for Venus Dee Milo and Doop would be way too costly to do right. That's not even getting into the large cast with a high turnover rate, the near impossibility of doing a film with a PG-13 rating and the lack of major villains.

I feel like the only way to handle X-Statix is if it's an animated TV sitcom geared toward adults in the same way as Archer, Venture Bros and South Park on late-night cable where you can get away with things like gore, nudity foul language, etc. I'd avoid killing major characters and simply grow the cast. I'd also make it set in the X-Men universe with voice-over cameos from the films showing up every few episodes but mostly keep it self-contained.

Would anyone watch this?

I'd rather see a X-Men animated series with Psylocke, Iceman, Cyclops, Phoenix, the Wolverine, Storm, Rogue, Gambit, Colossus, Angel, Nightcrawler and the Beast as the main roster.

If Deadpool Fxx flick does well which I think it will, I won't be surprised if they do a X-Statix adult cartoon series.

For a TV show, it could be. The teaser for the Gifted doesn't even look great with the power displays.

Allred's art is pretty similar to archer's.
But doop would be a great addition to any xmen movies.
