I just started watching this today. I instantly noticed several actresses.

I am missing the Lost tv series right now so I googled "shows with flashbacks like Lost" and this was 1 of the suggestions Ive read. I only knew about this for the Emmy nominations. Flashbacks ✔ Airplane crash ✔ Drama mystery thriller ✔ Emmy nominations ✔ And unlike Lost, the show is mostly about a group of girls/women ✔

18 episodes to go! I hope I'm hooked by the end of season 2.

I'll be amazed if you don't love it.

Well I already prefer it over all the Marvel live action shows and the Boys, after just 5 episodes. And i think I will like this more than The Last of Us because of its mystery vibe.

Finally finished season two today. And my initial thought was "whats gonna happen with the other girls". There's only four of them that aren't in the 2021 scenes. I'm assuming they aren't gonna survive in the later seasons or maybe one of them survived and would have a 2021 counterpart in season 3 to 5 but I can't imagine who. The other guy, who burned the cabin, either he will be rescued or he will not survive and be eaten. I read that this has a 5 season plan, I hope they will reach that goal. But I can't imagine what are they gonna do for season 4 and 5 in the wilderness, without introducing someone new.

I'm glad the cabin is destroyed, as I want them to explore more of the wilderness and film in a new set. I wish they didn't kill off Juliette Lewis' character in the 2021 scenes, as I liked her show Secrets and Lies back in the mid 2010s which only lasted for two seasons and here, it looks she's done after two seasons as well.

I also wish there are more seasons that are out by now. Its weird that I binged watch a show that premiered in 2021, and has released only two seasons and 19 episodes by 2024. But I also watch The Boys, Last of Us and several Marvel shows and it seems these days, scripted shows like this take a long more time inbetween seasons compare to ten years ago. I definitely got some Lost vibes here but I hope the next three seasons are much better, like I want to be mind blown. The show hasn't revealed anything about the darkness surrounding the wilderness so I can't wait for those to be revealed eventually. Like when one of the characters died in season 1, there's a guy with the crazy eyes that showed up in the afterlife scene and I'm still who was that ?!!!

They'll have to wait for Season 3 if they binge it. They should just go ahead and renew it for a 4th and final season to get the ball rolling

I'm watching the first episode right now. I forgot a brunette girl was killed in the premiere. It must be one of the other four girls (who aren't seen in 2021) Mari or Gen... unless they met new people to kill, eventually in the wilderness.

Also I noticed how season 1 ended with snow, then season 2 ended with fire. I was thinking before, for every next season they would change the season (spring, autumn) but the flashforward in the first episode, was still very much winter yet it seemed plenty of time already passed since the fire happened. Maybe a year passed by and it was winter again? I'm hoping its already raining in season 3 so they could do a lot more things in the open area without freezing to death.

I don't find the 2021 scenes interesting that much. I don't like Elijah's character and the story for him. The family drama isn't that compelling to me. I'm just wondering how important these 2021 scenes are in the grand scheme of things. Are they returning to the wilderness eventually or just continue to be a complete mess, while reminiscing what happened in the past? I still don't get the importance of the 2021 scenes.
