Yea I'm a little bummed that he's a villain, but I have a feeling he's heading towards a redemption arc. I'd love to know the back story to him and his wife. They seem way to skilled to just be and angry couple looking for revenge. I'm guessing there ex-military. Maybe even retired government ops. The average couple can't turn into skilled evo assassins in the space of a year.

I liked him as a villain, you get the sense of - wait, this guy should be good - so his villainy seems almost more frightening. Like something is way off.

I enjoy the parallel between this character and Noah. Both have lost a child. Both have a very particular set of skills. Noah let go of his grief and moved on (and is now on the road to helping the Evos again). Meanwhile, Zach Levi became consumed by it. It will make for a good dynamic if they ever cross paths. Though he is definitely not the villain. They have him very clearly en route to a redemptive arc.

Yes, I agree. I believe he'll be the one to fight off Phoebe's lygopathy that negates power. Light against dark. Gonna happen.

It's ironic he showed up to the evo anonymous meeting, not knowing that he's appropriately there, oblivious to his power. Maybe the Odessa events triggered a latent power in him, what with the blotting out of the sun by Phoebe.

I also wonder if his son was burned by the son for being not able to control his solar absorption powers well enough, if it was because his normie wife made him frail. Interesting to think about.
