I think Gates would likely run as a third party or independant candidate if he did do that...meaning he would essentially be the successor to Ross Perrot. Then again, with his money and the fact that he is still young, he could easily be the first third party president since the Whigs, if he is dedicated enough to run multiple times. Perrot was winning good ammounts of the vote, were he younger, he could've brought on major change to the American political system.
