The Flash The Barry Allen/The Flash Thread - Part 3

I'm kind of curious to see as to whether we'll see Oliver appear in this show first or if we'll have Barry guest on "Arrow" again (Post Lightning Strike) before then.

I really hope that we get to see Oliver's and Team Arrow's reaction to Barry's new found powers ON-SCREEN and that the whole revelation isn't left off-screen.

Their reactions should be priceless.

Can't wait for the inevitable crossover episodes, should be epic. Curious to see what villains they pull out for those episodes.

Gotta disagree with you on that. At the moment, Arrow is far better than MOS and looks better than anything WB plans to put out in theatres within the foreseeable future (Batman vs. Superman). It's not exactly ideal, but it's good.

What's next, that Amell, Cassidy, Lotz... are better than Cavill, Amy Adams and the superior cast of MOS? :funny:

Arrow has many flaws, the acting alone is inferior to the movies. Amell is still a bit wooden every now and then, Lotz is more convincing with the action than with her acting, etc. Amy Adams alone is better than the whole Arrow cast.

But hey, some Smallville fans think the show was better, if that makes them happy...

The MOS universe should consider itself very lucky if they had Arrow's universe connected to them.

I'll give you the acting was good, but the movie overall was wasn't that great (not a bad film either, but not very good). Arrow is more consistent, much better structured, plotted, paced, etc. I don't know why we are comparing a TV show with a film in the first place since they're in two separate mediums, but whatever.

Plus, MOS is not the main issue here (I thought it was decent overall). Most of my issues with not wanting Arrow/Flash connected to the DCCU come after MOS (meaning mainly due to Superman/Batman).

Exactly, they're different mediums, it would be better to compare Arrow to other shows... it beats the crap out of Agents of CHEESE, but clearly inferior to Game of Thrones or Vikings. :word:

:awesome:

You know, it isn't a big deal at all, but the more I think about it, the more I realize I like the traditional "wings" better. The lightning bolts on the side of the cowl don't look bad at all, but I think the wings would've looked better. Oh well. We could've gotten a lot worse.

agreed. that design choice wasn't an improvement. Hopefully the suit will evolve over time and we can get the classic wings.

i still love the new cowl though. it's basically perfect

im not a fan of the new lightning bolts on the side of the head but it did remind me of how some artists draw the wings becoming lightning when he's at super speed

So, is there a reason we don't have a Flash board yet, which is a series currently being filmed with an official pic of the mask and everything... but we do have multiple boards for the Netflix Marvel series, which haven't begun filming at all yet? :cwink:

Because Flash isn't confirmed for anything beyond the pilot yet.

Yeah, David Nutter only has a winning record of 18-1 pilots getting picked up to series.

Who knows. Flash might be his second rejection. :cwink:

Yeah, I'm not buying it. I'm pretty sure if G.I. Joe and Transformers can have boards (not superheroes), The Flash (an actual superhero) can have a board on SuperHeroHype.

Fixed. :o

He's actually had two pilots not get picked up, but both were at CBS. I think we're safe.
