It's a hell of a lot of fun going to a race. When I went to Spa in 2012, I was there for about 5 days, both monsoon and boiling sunshine... one of the best holiday's I've been on. The Friday night started in a local pub at 5:30pm & finished somewhere around 3am.

Nothing better than a room packed with people from just about every corner of the globe having a rollicking good time.

Hamilton starts on pole after a stunning last lap in qualifying.

Raikonnen pips Vettel to 2nd.

Stunning lap by Lewis.... and a major fail by Bottas as well, glad to see him walk away

Vettel wins the Australian grand prix after a miscalculation by Mercedes. Should keep things interesting as we see how much of a gap there is between the cars over the first few races.

Some suggestions that the VSC system needs a tweaking. Shouldn't be possible to make up so much time by diving into the pits.

Maybe they need to look into closing the Pits during a VSC.

Haas need to look at their pit release protocols... both cars sent out with wheels not connected.

Hamilton missed out on Australian Grand Prix glory with Vettel giving Ferrari the win.

Vettel on Pole this time out with Hamilton in 9th after a penalty dropped him 5 extra places.

Vettel leading after 35 laps. Bottas also in with a chance.

Great end to the race with Bottas with more pace pushing Vettel right to the end but Vettel managing to hold him off. Hamilton 3rd with Raikonnen not finishing.

Another super-dramatic race. Ricciardo wins! Vettel doesn't finish from pole. Bottas 2nd, Raikonnen 3rd. Hamilton 4th.

Max's fault IMHO... just like the earlier incident with Ocon was his fault

Would be interesting to hear what’s said behind closed doors on this one. The drivers seem to get on well with each other though unlike Hamilton Rosberg where incidents like this caused a ****storm every time.

Mercedes get a 1-2 at the Spanish Grand Prix. Hamilton wins, Bottas 2nd, Verstappen 3rd, Vettel 4th.

good result for Mercedes... but Haas have a few questions to ask their drivers.

Interesting race here with the top 5 all having issues and slower than some cars further behind.

Intriguing race with most of the above in with a chance at one point.

in slightly related news.... well done to Alonso for winning Le Mans. Amazing night driving from him won it for the #8 Toyota IMHO

Hamilton wins the French Grand Prix to go 14 points clear at the top. Verstappen 2nd, Raikonnen 3rd. Vettel back in 5th after an earlier incident with Bottas.

incident? it was Chaos! surprised both cars continued TBH.

Stroll's issue late on was dangerous as ****... so lucky it didn't end up worse than it did
