100 Things your kids may never know about

Whoever owns are those VHS tapes needs to open their own video store.
I remember when I was a kid you used to have vans come into the neighbourhood and in the van would be videos you rent like those mobile book libaries. A week later they would comeback into your street and you would hand it back. Those where the days.
A lot of park/play area equipment is long gone after tons of lawsuits and hurt kids. Seesaws are long gone, may poles, kid powered merry go rounds, and other tall structures.
Parents don't let their kids play in parks in the UK because they are scared pedos will snatch them.

Most kids get fat because of their parents are not letting them play outside and then they can't run around outside when they are allowed out because they are too fat plus is the kid gets hurt they sue:csad:

Then the local councils sell the parks to developers because they are not getting used and there is a housing shortage. Then people complain when kids are hanging around the streets once they take the parks away.
I agree. It's also important you teach your kids Han shoots first.
Good luck convincing Kids of the future to watch a movie without CGI :csad:
It will go something like this
"you mean thats a guy in a suit and that space ship is made out of a minature model?"

"Lame"

You get them young. Show them old school. Then move up to new school.

I was actually thinking about this the other day. In Chicago during the summer they have movies in different parks around the city, my friends and I found out Muppets Take Manhattan was playing on Monday and we went to see that. Watching the movie, I was kind of amazed at how well the Muppets still "worked" in the movie. I could only imagine if the movie was remade all the Muppets would probably be horrible CGI (which would really miss the point of the original concept).

....your kid may never know about....

Finding porn. Whether it be in your father's dresser, in the attic, in the woods or in the garbage. It was like finding a $50 on the street.

Kids now will never know the joy in that. :down :csad:

That one made me cry slightly on the inside.
I remember when Me and my friends would play King of the Hill on the jungle gym.
OMG~! kid powered merry go around. I remember bribing a kid with a chocolate bar to jump onto a spinning merry-go-around. Then I stopped it on purpose and he hitted his balls on the bar.
I laughed~ it was hardcore.

:csad:

Or how about when one had to walk to the TV set and change the channel with a pair of pliers because of the broken dial?
