15 Minutes with charl_huntress

how did you find out about the Hype?... and what is the absolute biggest turn-off for you?... or the one thing you just can't stand or won't tolerate?

Pizza's sort of considered taboo in the Superman-Batman boards where Huntress frequents. Maybe go with Chinese take-out. :yay:

Edit: ::Scrolls up and reads CH's response:: I always knew I was psychic!
Yes you are.... :woot:

What does this mean?

"Domine secundum actum meum noli me iudicare: nihil dignum in conspectu tuo egi. Ideo deprecor maiestatem tuam, ut tu Deus deleas iniquitatem meam."

"Domine secundum actum meum noli me iudicare nihil dignum in conspectu tuo egi ideo deprecor maiestatem tuam ut tu Deus deleas iniquitatem meam." ... translates to... "Lord do not judge me after my deeds; I have done nothing worthy in your eyes. Therefore I beseech You in Your majesty to deliver me from my sins."

When someone says "I'll kick him in his shins", do they mean kick to the shins? Or do they call the balls shins?

I found the Hype after looking for spoilers for Superman Returns.

My biggest turn off is someone with extreme body odor. I really hate when someone smells like sour milk, so please wash your ass people!

The one thing I will not stand for or tolerate in public is abuse of animals. Whenever I see someone correct their dog inappropriately, I always insert myself in their business. I don't care who they are.

They actually mean the balls, but they are willing to settle for a good shot to the shins.

What are the little things you enjoy/appreciate in your life?

And do you have any guilty pleasures? :)

Well....Shawn Wayne is a Marine, so definitely him. :cwink: And as for why...well when in doubt always call for a Marine.

Really? well my own personal motto is; when in doubt...always call Saul!

And i thought that you'll choose that Hal Jordan guy.:oldrazz: if for no other reason than to feed him to the Zombies later on.

Anyway...another question! if Godzilla ( or the Cloverfield monster) attacks, which Hypester would really gonna try to save...and why

very nice choice of a gif, charl... :yay:

and ah yes, the sickly sour sweat smell of the unwashed masses during the summertime... especially bad when you will occasionally run into it at a hotel comic convention, made even worse when you're trapped in a crowded elevator with more than one offending party... :cmad:

and I'm with you when it comes to animal abuse, I can't stand that sort of behavior myself... well done, charl...

oh, and thank you for your service, btw...

If you could create your own live action television series for a comic book character OTHER than Superman, who would you choose and would you air it on network or cable TV (assuming you had the choice and money was no issue)?

I guess I'll be nice and pose that question again (so two questions in total), this time assuming you'll pick Superman. Network or cable TV? What would you focus on thematically? How would your Superman be different than previous incarnations?

If you were to write a script for Hollywood, would you rather choose a source material to work on or write something of your own making?

What are the little things you enjoy/appreciate in your life?

I really appreciate the smaller things in life. Reading a comic and enjoying the artwork is a small thing. In my experience some don't get to experience those sorts of small pleasures. I would like for everyone to experience that.

And do you have any guilty pleasures? :)

I do have guilty pleasures...but they are mostly in regards to cooking and eating pleasurable treats. For instance, I love cinnamon rolls and chocolate ice cream. I also love carrot cake and apple pie. I just learned how to make each.

Really? well my own personal motto is; when in doubt...always call Saul!
I have not watched Breaking Bad...

I would choose MrsKent26 because she bakes brownies!

Never thank someone who gives voluntarily. We do it for our own reasons, but we do it!

I want a Huntress and Nightwing series. It would be the bomb!!!! And I would most certainly air this on network TV on the CW.

Hmmmm....good questions. I would choose network because you always need maximum exposure for Superman. As for a theme, I would focus on Superman as a alien. A good show would highlight that aspect of the mythos while focusing on the connections Clark/Kal has made in this new world. The difference between a new incarnation and previous ones would lie with Clark.

Clark Kent grounds Superman, so you only need to develop a good Clark to showcase the different aspects of Superman.

If you were to write a script for Hollywood, would you rather choose a source material to work on or write something of your own making?

I would want both. There is too much good Superman out there to dismiss it.

I understand, but to ME, it's just common courtesy and it never hurts to verbalize that gratitude in appreciation to those for doing it, nonetheless... :yay:

I would love to see a Nightwing series. I'm not too familiar with Huntress though.

And btw...you gave Thunderstrike credit for one of my fantastic questions! Boo!

Have you ever read the book - THE SHIP WITH THE FLAT TIRE - ?

If there is a Zombie Apocalypse, could the Armed Forces and the American people take them down in the US alone before it goes out of control?

Once you're caught up on the New Doctor who do you plan to watch any of the older episodes?
