15 Minutes with Schlosser85

3D theater: Yes or no?
Depends on the movie. 99% of the time it's not worth the extra charge.

More into Star Wars or Star Trek?
Star Wars overall, but I like Abrams' Trek better than Star Wars.

What if Episode VII has too many flashbacks?
Then I would think it was a lazy device for when screenwriters don't have original ideas and are trying to fall back on audience nostalgia for the previous films.

Would you rather remake The Dark Knight Rises to improve it or Spider-Man 3? Who would you consider replacing (actor or character) in both movies?
While I did have some issues with The Dark Knight Rises, overall I think it's much, much better than Spider-Man 3, so SM3. I wouldn't especially replace an actor, just overhaul the story. The first third or so is okay. It's mostly when Venom comes in that it gets wonky (probably because he was shoehorned in against Raimi's will). For one, the whole ridiculous Saturday Night Fever-esque "Dark Peter" would go bye-bye. Gwen Stacy too because she was completely superfluous. The stupid butler's revelation that didn't make any sense.

How do you define a loser?
Someone who does not aspire to be better than they are. Someone who depends on others their entire existence. Someone who does not take responsibility for their own actions. Someone who doesn't lift a finger to make any kind of effort.

Is sanity standard or is it in the eye of the beholder?
Eye of the beholder. Some people think I'm wacky, and I think some other people are really hard to wrap my brain around.

What might give you a reason to bump your head into the wall?
Some people's utter stupidity and people who wear their ignorance like a badge of honor. Homophobia disgusts me, for one example (and I'm not talking about people who just believe marriage is between a man and a woman, I'm talking about people who are truly hateful of complete strangers for an absolutely ridiculous reason).

Oh jeez. 1. The 2014 Godzilla reboot.
2. Child 44 (2014)
3. Abrams' third Star Trek
4. Interstellar
5. Hellboy
6. Hellboy: The Golden Army
7. The Amazing Spider-Man 2
8. Thor 2
9. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
10. The next James Bond
11. X-Men: Days of Future Past 12. The Avengers 2
13. Paranoia
14. Jack Ryan
15. 12 Years a Slave
16. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
17. The Wolverine
18. I'm really running out of anything to say.

Any director you wish to direct a specific comic book movie? What character? And Why?

LEGO constructions or Jigsaw Puzzles? Which is more fun to do?

Whats better:

Kick in the face or kick in the balls?

Dry chicken or wet pants?

Injecting heroin into your eyeballs or a poorly drawn comic staring your favourite character?

Ugly glasses or deadly hair?

Shot in the leg or stabbed in the gut?

1999 or 1899?

I'd like David Fincher to do a Batman movie/series. His dark, stylish visual style seems like it'd be a good fit. I think his Gotham could have more personality than Nolan's (one of the big lacking points of Nolan's Batman, to me, was how generic Gotham was).

LEGO constructions or Jigsaw Puzzles? Which is more fun to do?

Jigsaw puzzles.

Do you believe in life after modding?

What is the point of continued "life" after achieving the pinnacle of human existence?

I believe the only course of action for a demodded mod is to commit ritual Seppuku.

What do you think is the most overrated comic book film?

Which is the most underrated comic book film?

I think the original Superman is overrated and doesn't hold up well at all. As for underrated...I enjoyed Iron Man 2 more than Iron Man 3, and I think TDKR gets more hate than it deserves.

Tell us about some novels adapted to film you enjoy reading. Name each novel and give us why you enjoy it

What has the movie adaption done better? And what did the movie need to adapt more accurately from the book?

You said you like Star Trek. Have you seen the classic TOS episodes & if so, what are your favorites from them??

Which are your favorite Trek characters??

Do you watch TBBT?? If so, who is your favorite character on the show??

I find the ideas and concepts in the novel of Jurassic Park fascinating. I think the movie "moves" better, but I wish some scenes had been left in, like the swimming T-Rex.

I also find the idea behind The Da Vinci Code fascinating, but I wish the movie had better-developed Silas' background. He comes across as a much more sympathetic and tragic character in the book. Also, the movie completely blanked out on the Robert/Sophie sexual tension.

I like the Gary Mitchell episode. To be honest, part of me wishes he really was the villain in Into Darkness the way I suspected he was for the longest time. Also Khan's introduction.

I like the original crew better than the Next Gen crew, except I like Picard better than Shatner!Kirk, though (blasphemy alert) I like Pine!Kirk better.

My favorite supporting character is Spock, no matter who plays him.

Not a fan of TBBT.

Is Schlosser85 your real name? What would your SHH name be if it weren't Schlosser85?

Schlosser isn't my name. If my name wasn't Schlosser85 it'd be Jester85.

Hollywood approaches you to write a draft of your choosing for a movie, and give you one year as deadline. What genre? And what would you consider proper inspiration for the story you will write?

Why am I your favorite Hype member ever?

About tonight's opportunity, are you in or out?

You don't really think you'll win, do you?

EDIT: Erzengel will ask?
Thing Ring do Your Thing
