We're almost there. What games are you looking forward to, are a must buy or a just curious about and why?

For now, my list only has:

Asura's Wrath: Looks to be the most crazy game I've ever seen and with some really big action and presentation, according to the last videos I saw.

Amazing Spider-Man: Has a return to free roam and, besides being a movie tie-in and been recently disappointing me, I'm still curious about it.

Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations: A lot of new characters, each of the 70 + chars are really unique, fighting mechanics really improved and many new modes.

DmC (Devil May Cry): As a fan of the series that I am, I'm willing to give the benefit of doubt to this new take on the franchise, which is looking good so far.

South Park: I rarely care for this type of games, but I love the show and they seem to be crafting something really fun.

Tomb Raider: This is the one I'm most curious about, since we barely have anything so far. I never really cared for this franchise, but this one seems so fresh and interesting that I'm really anxious about it.

A really short list. I hope more games come up. What are yours?

Borderlands 2
Bioshock Infinite
Diablo III
GTA V
Mass Effect 3

Shogun 2: Fall Of Samurai - Stand alone expansion to my favorite game this year.

Torchlight 2 - Torchlight was a super solidly designed game. It didn't just copy Diablo, it improved upon it. Super value for the money. Looking forward to it more so than D3.

Guild Wars 2: Loved the first game. Terrific presentation, done away with alot of the crap I hated in MMO's.

Tribes Ascend: Could be good.

I'm sure there will be surprises along the lines of Trine 2, Frozen Synapse type games that pop up. Indie games quility seem to be rising and rising year in year out. Usually more interesting than the coke can production line of the bigger games churned out.

Oh, nice to see people interested in Tomb Raider, too. I thought only I was looking forward to it. Long time with no news, though. GTA is winning, for now.

I just don't feel 2012 will be as fun as 2011 was with games.

For me, Amazing Spider-man,Darksiders 2 and MGR:R

Mass Effect 3 and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Mass Effect 3 and Bioshock Infinite are the ones I'm most interested in next year.

Definite:
Metal Gear Rising
Ninja Gaiden 3
Resident Evil: Operation raccoon City
Street Fighter x Tekken
And if there will be an AC game

Possible:
The Amazing Spider-Man (EoT is alright, SD is just boring, and this one so far looks so-so, but it's a Spider-Man game, I'll enjoy some more stuff in it eventually)
Resident Evil Revelations (considering I get a Nintendo 3DS)
Devil May Cry
Asura's Wrath

For me the start of the year =

NFL Blitz
Twisted Metal
Mass Effect 3

That should keep me busy for a good while

Mass Effect 3 is the game I'm most excited for by far. I don't think I can wait another year for it!

Out of the poll I'm also excited for BioShock Infinite, Fable: The Journey (sorta...I always get excited for Fable games and am disappointed once I get them), and Soul Calibur V.

Grand Theft Auto V is obviously the major title coming out this year so that's deff high on my list. Also looking forward to Hitman: Absolution, Mass Effect 3, Aliens: Colonial Marines, Max Payne 3, Resident Evil: ORC and that's about it.

Don't think it will be quite as good as this yr but 2012 should be a good one for gaming.

Mass Effect 3, Max Payne 3, Halo 4, Borderlands 2, most likely the game of the year Bioshock: Infinite, and the game I'm most excited for Darksiders 2.

I'm looking forward to X Rebirth as well. I didn't put it on my list because I thought it already came out. :/

Operation Raccoon City and Ninja Gaiden 3 are the only one's I'm looking forward to.

Only looking forward to a few.

Mass Effect is already pre-ordered (N7 Collectors Edition) so that's a given.

Halo 4: I've been playing them since the very beginning and I don't plan on stopping now. I trust 343 after Anniversary.

GTA V: should be interesting. Not sure how it will turn out.

Hitman: Absolution: same as GTA V.

Asura's Wrath- I'm sorta wary about this game since it could fall flat. But if it's as fun as it looks, then I think we have a God of War killer on our hands.

Amazing Spider-Man- I'm also sorta nervous about this game. But if it's good and a true successor to Spider-man 2 then this could be my favorite game of next year.

Halo 4- Halo is my favorite game series, so of course I'm hyped about this game. Hopefully this game has the same magic that Halo 3 had. Reach is a good game, but it's nowhere near as much fun that halo 3 was.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City- Eh, it could be good. I have a few friends who might pick it up, so I'll give it a shot.

Street Fighter X Tekken- I'm scared that there might be a Super version down the road. But I'll buy this game if Cody and/or Q are in the game.

Asassins Creed 3- We all know it's coming and I'm excited to see what new time period Ubisoft chooses.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2- What can I say, I love COD. Trey arch is my favorite COD developer too.

Mass Effect 3- My most anticipated game of 2012. The ME franchise is my favorite new IP this gen and I can't wait to hop back into the awesome world that Bioware has created!

Is there a Black Ops 2 confirmed? And the name really is BO2?

Is there a Black Ops 2 confirmed? And the name really is BO2?

I wouldn't doubt it. Activision gets less and less creative each year so I'm sure there'll be another Black Ops.

The Jak and Daxter Collection - I loved these games as a kid, and I'm really excited that I'll be able to play them again in HD and with the added incentive of trophies haha. Hoping that there's a teaser for a new Jak game on the disc like there was with The Sly Collection.

The Amazing Spider-Man - Looking forward to the movie, and I really like the new suit, so even if the story sucks I'll be happy just being able to swing around the city wearing the suit. :funny:

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time - Sly Cooper is one of my all time favorite characters, and I'm really excited to see him finally returning after what feels like forever.

Assassin's Creed sequel - One of my favorite series of this generation, excited to see where they go with it next.

GTA V
Mass Effect 3
ASM (possibly; I'm still waiting to find out if it's more than just robot-bashin')
Halo 4
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
Assassin's Creed 3
