Well, I got a 360, and I like it and all, but I play music more than I play the 360, and I'm looking at getting a new guitar. Should I keep the 360, or sell it to get the guitar?

depends....what kind of music do you play? who are your favorite bands?

When Halo 3, Gears of War, Stranglehold, Splinter Cell Double Agent, Bioshock and Mass Effect are released, you'll be playing your 360 a lot more. Keep the console.

Depends on the guitar. I mean, if you want a good Fender Tele or Strat, you can get one for a bit over 500 bucks. I'm sure (if you have/get a job), you can save up easily. However, if you want a Les Paul, it'll put you back abit more and you will want to sell the system.

Also, a good question is what kind of guitar do you have now? I mean, if it's good, keep it. Or if you do have your heart set on a new guitar, trade in your old one. Who knows, you may almost be able to pay for the new guitar with just that. Once again, depending on what kind you want. But, really, if you do like the 360 and you old guitar still plays, I'd keep both and just save the money.

Whatever you do, do not buy a Les Paul Studio. They are basically the same as an Epiphone Les Paul, which cost much less.

Just buy Guitar Hero for your 360.
That would be nice, if there WAS a Guitar Hero for the 360.
Keep the 360.
If you don't want to, I'll buy it from you:D

right. I'm sure you know this, but never go cheap. If you get a good guitar/bass, it'll last you for life. My Dad's had his 1972 P-Bass since 1972 and he's never had any problems with it.

Ed, you seem to know about guitars. Would you recomend the Epiphone Les Paul? I've been looking at it, but I'm not sure. I could ask the guitar people who just want to make a sale or my friend who's guitar crazy and would never spend less than 3000 dollars for a guitar.

Well, if you're looking to buy expensive, then go with a Les Paul Custom or Standard. But, if you're going a little cheaper, which I recommend, go for the Epiphone Les Paul. It's around 5-700 dollars, and it has a nice sound, better than the Gibson Les Paul Studio.

Now, if you're looking for something other than Les Pauls, and for the same price of a Gibson les Paul Studio, go with the Gibson SG, it's a great guitar, and it's not too expensive depending on the wood.

I wasn't looking at just gibsons/epiphones. If I don't get a Les Paul, I was really looking at the Fender Stratocaster. But the epiphone Les Paul isn't a band instrument?

Sorry, I meant bad. But yeah, I am in a rock band. We're sort of a blusey classic rock sort of thing. Oh yeah, I'd love a tele, but I'm not willing to spend in the thousands of dollars. The Epiphone Les Paul or the Fender Standard Strat is more in my price range. And this isn't a learning guitar. I do know how to play. I have an acoustic.

I would go with that stratocaster that I showed you. It's ideal for bluesy classic rock.

Tough choice... as I actually make a chunk of my money WITH my guitar, thats what I'd be inclined to buy first... but I have both a 360 and a few good guitars already.

The link pointed me to a tele. Both links did.

Ah my fault, that is the guitar I meant to talk about anyway. I recommend that one over a strat.

Yeah. Since you pointed it out, I was looking at the Epiphone Les Paul. Right in my price range and supposedly the best you can get in that price range. I don't know. I guess the best way to know what guitar is best is to go around playing, right?
