Engage!
Star Trek VI only needed 4 minutes for a brilliant end after 25 years of following these characters.
It’s not so much the amount but how they use it.
I’m a little concerned that the last 15-20 minutes or so could follow the pattern of other series and seasons in slowly showing the characters being happy together while sentimental music plays after the plot wraps up. If there was plenty of time remaining in the season, I’d feel differently, but 9 episodes of build-up needs more than a half-episode of resolution.
That was some sloppy, dumb fun. The performances and chemistry of the TNG cast were on fire and it was great to see the old cast having so much fun.
However, I'm really not a fan of the Titan becoming the Enterprise-G....
However, I'm really not a fan of the Titan becoming the Enterprise-G. The Federation flagship ought to be cutting edge top of the line. Not some 20 year old ship refitted into a legacy Constitution design that evokes century old ships. I wish we got something that continues on and evolves the design styles of the Galaxy and Sovereign classes. If they were going to use a vintage inspired design, something like the Ross class would have been my preference to pay homage to the D and Galaxy-class.
Good finale. I was certain that they were going to make the Neo Constitution class the Enterprise G, just did not expect them to make the Titan it.
Really enjoyed the Borg Queen going full Giger. It was nice to see that the Borg didn't just keep on after the destruction of Unimatrix 01.
Its great to see the full crew together again, and the final scene was just great.
I am full on for a Capt Seven series. I am sad we didn't get Mulgrew as a cameo, but Tuvok will suffice.
The Q appearance was fun. Kind of surprised it wasn't Q Jr, but oh well. And if there is one person I trust to keep timeline continuity in mind, its Matalas.
Why are you promoting this piece of ****? I don't ****ing care what his history his, its clear he is part of the right wing grifting brigade. So **** him. Post your own damn reactions, and not try to use some sort of authority to back up your own opinions. Especially one who should not be paid attention to.
He's really not.
They literally brought the Enterprise-F into canon just to replace it (with an older ship) before it actually got to do anything cool, it's a shame because the F is more or less what you described, a melding of the D and E, even has saucer separation, complete waste of the Odyssey class. Other than that I really enjoyed the finale, making the Borg threat more of a personal vendetta with the Queen made me feel a lot better about using the Borg again so soon. Really excited to see Seven become a captain as well, one of my favorite Trek characters and has had such a great arc to get to this point. That was some sloppy, dumb fun.
