You guys should also add Cobweb to your Halloween lists. Fun little horror movie.

It's best to avoid Viral. And like Kane said, 94 is the best one so far.

Yeah I remember watching 1 and 2 when they released loving them. And then seeing the trailer for Viral. Just didn’t interest me. Then the trailer for 94 grabbed my attention when they announced that.

For anyone that has SHUDDER, I can recommend these:

What Josiah Saw
Moloch
The Dark and The Wicked
Huesera: The Bone Woman
A few of my favorites on Shudder:

- Psycho Goreman
- Vicious Fun
- Scare Me (Aya Cash is a treasure)
- The Mortuary Collection
- Deadstream
- Mandy
- Glorious
- Host
- Tragedy Girls
- Mad God
- Superhost
- Slaxx
- Z
- Revenge
- Mayhem
- Better Watch Out
- Color Out of Space
- The Autopsy of Jane Doe

Oh, I finally saw Leprechaun 3 because Double Toasted was doing a roast, and my god that is some underrated horror trash. It's so weird for a movie to be released in 1995 to look like it was shot 5-10 years prior.

Also, it's weird that I've seen practically every Leprechaun movie except for the first two. It's like I'm working backwards.

Bite-Sized Review: A decent lead performance and humor (at times) can't really make up for all of... this.

Just a story about a butcher under a lot of stress. Most relatable horror icon? :o
Most relatable horror icon? He might be the most relatable character in all of cinema. Working class dude just trying to deal. It's between him and Michael Douglas in Falling Down.

Night 7

Watched The Mummy (1932) for the first time last night. I’ve got The Invisible Man, Bride of Frankenstein, Wolfman, Phantom of the Opera, and Creature from the Black Lagoon coming up.

Hoping by the time I get those finished my 4K Exorcist and Ringu will have gotten in. Probably follow that up with Exorcist 3, Rosemary’s Baby, and Jacob’s Ladder if I can find it. Gonna try to fit in Eraserhead and The Shining somewhere in there too.

Bride of Frankenstein is in my Top 10 favorite movies.

first Spooky movie of the Season:

The Addams Family (1991) d. Barry Sonnenfeld
tumblr_p22fehKWYK1snusg4o1_540.gif

Perfect way to start the season. Such a blast, every time. Values is definitely the superior film, but the original remains endlessly entertaining. One of the most perfectly cast movies of all time.

(sidebar - how have we NEVER gotten Sean Astin in an Addams project, given his family ties to the original TV series?)

The most underrated movie of the 21st century. Fight me!

Two of my all time favorites, back to back.
