90s comic books or "dark ages".

I lost all of my comics when I moved 15 years ago. Something I'm still bitter about.

I mainly collected Image and Dark Horse comics but I had a decent collection of Marvel as well. And I collected some of the independent stuff too on occasion.

Before today I had never seen the 90's referred to as a "Dark ages of comics" though.

Yeah, Wally West and Kyle Rayner were my favorite 90s additions to the DC Universe. Damn shame that DC hates Wally West for some strange, unknown reason. It kinda pissed me off actually.

Wally West was around before the 90s, wasn't he?

My fault. Yeah, he was from the 60s and became Flash after Crisis. An honest 90s kid mistake. I just always pair him and Kyle Rayner together.

lot of 90s memories, all started here for me as a young teen

Since December 1959, to be very precise.
But he never had a strong solo before dropping 'Kid' out of his superhero name, and his series became really good in the 90s.

I miss GEN13 and when the inside of comics look as good as the covers...
