This was a fantastic episode. I really loved Saul's conversion it was well done.
Yea it got deleted because to many non religious people saw the thread as a place to debunk religion. But the good thing is I met some solid Christians here, like yourself, Apollo, Human Torch, and Tech.
Yeah, it's a shame that happened. I don't know why people can't help but try to "debunk religion". But I thought we did good a job showing bible based answers to their objections. The problem is,we're outnumbered 10 to 1 and I can't make this my life's work to continually answer ALL of people's objections.I'm sure that's true of all of us.

Yeah, real high marks for Paul's conversion. It was very much what I hoped it would be. Paul's baptism was probably the highlight for me.
Peter & Simon's confrontation was handled very well. I never inferred Simon was about to be struck dead in the biblical account, though.
I have to admit, the guy playing Barnabas doesn't really strike me as what I expected him to look like in the bible. I'd actually have traded roles between he and Ananias.
The Roman/Mary Magdalene subplot continues to leave me cold. I really hope they eventually edit the show down to a 3 hr movie that focuses on the Apostles/Paul.I'd love to see that.
I also wanted to applaud the show for their depiction of miracles/healings. This is the way it's done. Not that naturalistic crap they try to push in other shows/films. When you see the Power of God at work there's no two ways about it.
It seems like there are not many of us following the show. I guess it doesn't have the appeal of a genocidal Noah or a brain damaged Moses to garner interest.![]()
Yea this show is awesome! Any word on when the show will hit Blu Ray/ DVD?
Yes, I really enjoy how they depict God's miracles as told in the Book of Acts.
And Yes, I am not a fan of the Noah 2014 movie or the Exodus 2014 movie. But This series is great. I wish it had more of a following here, so we can discuss it in more detail. The ratings seem pretty solid for Sunday nights. Plus all the people who watch it on demand like I do. I miss Sunday night airings sometimes, so I watch it on Comcast the next day. I hope the ratings though are enough for them to start season 2 which I read they wanted to do
I wouldn't waste my time. Both movies did not justice to the accounts given in the bible. Noah having rock monsters help him was a crying shame and to have his sons marry their brothers baby twins was wrong also. When according to the bible Noah's son's were grown and married by the time of the flood.Yea I didn't like the 2014 Noah movie because it added to many things to cater to the non religious crowd. I heard the same was true with the 2014 Exodus movie where the movie implies that Moses talking to God was all in his mind and the plagues were just acts of nature and nothing more.

Exodus was just down right disrespectful. First off they had Mosses fighting the battles and not God and made all the plagues look like an act of nature and had God as a child. But it is expected because as polls are showing we (the United States) are becoming more and more a nation that doesn't believe in religion which is truly sad.
I feel the same way you do. However I think people are more open to spirits and demons and ghost and etc because they hate to acknowledge the fact that they have someone they will have to answer to for all their sins and want to feel like they're in control of everything.Yea I walked out of the theater really disappointed in Noah but the bright side is that the movie got more people to open up the bible and read Noah's story. I haven't seen Exodus for the reasons you mentioned. I agree it's sad that here in the U.S people are moving away from God. The world needs more light in the world instead of darkness. For example, this "game" that is going around on social media about summoning a Mexican demon called Charlie or whatever. I never mess around with crap like that because demons and evil spirits are very real. But it shocks me that people accept supernatural stuff like ghosts, demons, evil spirits but the exist of God is to absurd for them. I am like really?? I feel like we are drawing closer and closer to the day when Christ returns.

Personally I would prefer the show goes back to the history channel or comes to Netflix. However NBC allows more people to see it.^ Yeah I am hoping we get a second season too. It seems like the ratings are good enough. But it also depends of production costs. If it costs too much there may not be one even if there are good ratings. But I am hoping for one.
