ABC's Wipeout!

Does anyone else watch this show? The new season debuted tonight! I am so glad it's back! Everything has been changed or made even more ridiculous in some way!

I missed half of it cause there was a storm and my dish went on the fritz. But I watched it last year and I loved it. John Henson is just as funny as he used to be on Talk Soup years ago

It's definately a great show for a laugh! This year's obstacles are even more crazy!

And a very poor one at that. I'll take Ninja Warrior any day over that show. Takes out some of the excitment when the contestants can try obstacles over and over again. You don't need to have a winner every week.

Japan already has (or had) a show like this called MXC, which is (or was) basically a more lighthearted version of Ninja Warrior. Just from the commercials, the commentary sounded much worse than MXC's, so meh.

Ninja Warrior > Wipeout

Wipeout is nothing like Ninja Warrior. Wipeout is about watching morons fall on there asses and laughing about it. Ninja Warrior is about skill..........and watching morons fall on there asses and laughing about it.

Both have their drawbacks. On one hand, NW always has that one guy who has to wear nothing but a thong or something, whereas with Wipeout you have an obese woman covered in mud jiggling off a big rubber ball...

Yeah, but the thong guy is usually done in less than a minute, they don't let him keep trying to finish the course. Plus, for every thong guy, there's a Makoto Nagano who just amazes you by how awesome he is.

Touche good sir. I wonder how they've upped the difficulty of the course this year since no one got very far on the new course, if I remember correctly.

Yeah. That was the biggest thing I find at fault with Wipeout... no one really truly has a 'wipeout'. Unless they quit.
