Hey guys...so we're doing this tour to benefit the families of firefighters who died on 9/11...and I just got the promo poster for it and need to alter a few things...

I AM LOST!!!

It appears that the words on it arent typed because I can delete the whole section, but not alter the text in it...so maybe I just need to delete them and use a text similar to what they have??? I have a feeling that the changes are simple...but being Abode-******ed, I'm confused...and we kind of need to get this poster out there ASAP.

If anyone knows a lot about this and might be able to help our little charity thing, shoot me a PM or something and maybe I can email it to you to check out...

The text might just be grouped in with other non-text objects, in which case you should still be able to edit the text once you ungroup it. The text may also have been converted to paths when it was saved, in which case you will probably have to just try to recreate it with a similar font. There's a good tool to try and identify what font was used here.

I don't use Illustrator very often at all so don't be surprised if I'm wrong. Just trying to help however I can.

might also help if you send someone the file. feel free to send it to me and i can take a look and tell you how to fix it, though bgates87 seems to be on the right track with what is mostly likely wrong.
