Do you guys think that they could ever make an Agents of Atlas movie? I really would want to see Gorilla man (or is it Gorilla-man?) on screen and the human robot?

might work
the agents of atlas bere based on a what if the avengers founded in the 1950's right? the original story had my usernamesake in it is he in agents?

its kinda funny how he is the #1 pick for any role that needs prosthetics or w/e. (i have no idea who gorilla-man is but im guessing he needs prosthetics)

edit* LOL i just checked the Thanos thread and you suggested him for Thanos aswell haha

Ron Pearlman is basically the role I would say for anything ugly and that involves prostetics!

its his voice.

and he's ugly which helps when you need a big ugly monster! I'm pretty sure if this film didn't have a budget they could Ron grow out his body hair lol!

I could see them doing a mixture of a man in an partially anamatronic gorila suit (like in Mighty Joe young), CG in Ron Perlman's face and prosthetics (like in Lord of the Rings with Gimly), and a CG version for when Gorilla Man has to some major action (like in King Kong).

That would be awesome.
This movie would be cool too since it is not a huge and popular comic, some people might not even know its based on a comic.
they might assume that its just a sci fi, super heroic, action movie.

Writer Jeff Parker has explained that he didn't use 3-D Man in Agents of Atlas, in part due to his being a 1970s retcon, not an original Atlas Comics character.

I think they should put 3D man in anyway! and what do you mean by 1970s retcon?

Robots and gorillas shooting guns? Sign me right the f**k up! :woot:

i can explain that roy thomas created 3d-man in the 1970's and based his stories in the 1950's era to make him a 50's version of spider-man

3D man - todrick Hall
Gorilla man - Timothy dalton
Human robot - bill hader
John woo - Randall savage
Namora - Awkafina
Venus - Anna Faris
The uranian - Simon Baker

If this is true I think it'd be more likely to be the modern version that focusses on spotlighting Asian heroes including members like Shang-Chi and Amadeus Cho, rather than introducing the version with Gorilla-Man, Uranian, etc. that takes place in the 50s. Though honestly I'd be fine with either as both versions have several original characters that most people don't know and thus could lead to those characters getting pushed to popularity as happened with the Guardians rather than endlessly recycling stuff related to classic core Avengers.
