The CGI in Apes was amazing. I'm not doubting that. But my issue is more that CGI will ALWAYS look like CGI.

Exactly, that is hard to miss when watching movies, CGI looking like CGI
Even if on first view one movie make it look more realistic than most, the CGI will look CGI on laterviews
