I do computer backups every few months. I think the last one was in Jan. so I'm over due. I've only had one big muckup that I needed a restore for but I was happy to have it.

One time I was standing in cashier line at food court at mall at international cuisine. It was food from my home country, but unfortunately not many people were really buying food there. I thought the cashier looked pretty good.

I ordered ...at the end...the cashier asked would you like anything else.

With a straight face, I said "your phone number."

she first looked confused and asked again and I repeated the same thing. Afterwards, she had the biggest smile on her face.

She actually then told me her cell phone and home phone number rather quickly......before telling me she was getting married.

I said ok,...I'm not that type of guy and went on....I told her I was going on a vacation soon...and she replied..."I'm only engaged by the way t:..take me with you"

Oh well...anyway, just ask the woman for her phone number with authority. Or make a nice joke with a straight face and then ask...it usually works. and if it doesn't you can shake it off.

you can't be weak to come in here and read the crap i do every day. it's such a horrible thing that i have to go out and earn a paycheck instead of sitting her and babysitting kids who can't behave all day long. perish the thought!

I didnt know about that! Im oblivious when it comes to keyboard commands. Ctrl+alt+delete is the only one I ever used.

I'm overdue for backing up my computer. I'm thinking of doing an complete reinstall of everything at some point. I just need to get a spare harddrive or two to back everything up.

I have a 2tb HDD I picked up a few years back for $115. I had planned to get the 1tb for $100 but noticed it right beside it. I figured it was a good deal, double the space for $15.

I've got around 1.5tb of data on my harddrives of the 2tb or so capacity I have. And this is actual capacity, not that fake number on the box which is calculated differently to give a misleadingly larger number.

Some of these harddrives are old and probably ready to retire soon. I'll have to break down and buy a new one this summer before anything gives way on me. At least they're relatively cheap now.

I remember when buying a 10 gig harddrive was like a huge space you couldn't fill up but it was expensive (couple of $100).
